Life had slowly settled back into its usual rhythm after all the chaos.
Mornings in the Jeon mansion were once again filled with hurried breakfasts, overlapping voices, and last-minute arguments.

BHU – Jungkook’s Cabin

The afternoon sun filtered through the large glass windows. Papers were scattered on the desk, laptops open, and three coffee cups lay forgotten. Jungkook sat on his chair, slightly leaned back, glasses resting on his nose. IU sat cross-legged on the couch. Tae stood near the table… flipping through a calendar.

Suddenly—

Her eyes sparkled.

Tae-: ( saw calendar... Eyes shined) guys.... Di jiju ka 4th wedding anniversary 1 hafte baad hai.... So what's the plan.... ??

Jungkook blinked, surprised.

Jungkook-: 1 min.... Bhai bhabhi ke shadi ko 4 saal hone waale hai....?? Itni jldi...

Tae smiled softly, still staring at the date.

Tae-: vhi toh.... Aisa lg rha hai kl hi toh dono ki shadi hui thi.... Aur ab 1 hafte baad unki 4th wedding anniversary bhi hai....

IU leaned back, smiling nostalgically.

IU-: exactly.... Time kitna jldi beet gya na.... Iss beech hmne apni yhi se puri pdhayi complete krli.... Phd krkr aaj hum dono yhi pr profs hai.... Aur tumhare toh MA dissertation ho ya PhD thesis sbke advisor yhi kookie bhai jo ab tere husband hai vhi the....

Tae chuckled, slightly shy.

Tae-: haa yaar.... Voh toh hai.... Acha btao na... Inke 4th anniversary pr aisa kya krein jo di jiju khush hojaye....

Jungkook tapped his fingers on the table thoughtfully.

Jungkook-: krna kya hai.... Surprise party plan krte hai.... Ghr jayenge tb mom dad aur dada dadi bhi toh hai unse  puch lenge.... jhope aur sugar ke sath bhi discuss krlenge....Ki kya krna jo sb bole vhi krlenge....  Fir aapas mei decide krlenge kisko kya krna hai ussi according sb easily prepare ho jayega.... So chill....

Tae nodded, satisfied.

Tae-: hmm.... Theek hai... Chlo mai jaarhi ho....

She picked up her notes and attendance sheet.

IU frowned.

IU-: ab kaha jaarhi hai....??

Tae-: mera last class aaj ka bacha hai... Vhi lene.... Aati hoo 1 ghnte baad....

Jungkook looked at her.

Jungkook-: ok.... Aao fir sath mei ghr chlenge....

Tae smiled softly and nodded.
But as she stood up— Her vision blurred.
The room spun..... Her grip loosened....
And suddenly— She collapsed.
IU froze.....   
Jungkook stood still for a second.
Then panic hit..... Hard.
He rushed forward, catching her instantly before she hit the ground, lifting her into his arms.....

Jungkook-: tae.... Bachcha.... Kya hua....?? Please apni aankhe kholo babu...

His voice trembled. His hands shook....
He gently tapped her cheek.....
No response....
Jungkook’s eyes filled with tears.....

Jungkook-: (voice cracking up as he was crying) IU.... Dekho na isko kya hua....?? Yeh behosh kaise hogyi...abhi toh kitni excited thi.... Bhai bhabhi ke anniversary plan krrhi thi.... ( tears fell down) fir achanak meri tae aise behosh kaise hogyi....??

IU stood frozen, heart racing.
Then immediately grabbed her phone.

IU-: Doctor ko call karti hoon!

Within minutes, a doctor arrived.
Tae was laid carefully on the couch.
Jungkook sat beside her, holding her hand tightly—like letting go would make her disappear..... His eyes were closed.....
Silently praying. Something he never did.
But for her… he would do anything.
The doctor checked her pulse… blood pressure… everything.....
A soft smile appeared on her face.

Doctor-: congrats professor jeon.... Your wife is 2 days pregnant....

For a second— Silence.....
Jungkook blinked.....He didn’t process it.....
IU, however— Gasped......
Then jumped up, hugging him tightly.....

IU-: (hugging) bhai congrats.... Aap papa bnne wale ho aur mai bua.... I'm so happy....

Jungkook stood frozen.

Jungkook-: ( still processing) wait.... What....??

And then— It hit him.....Hard.....
His eyes widened.....
Then suddenly— He stood up and started jumping like a child.....

Jungkook-: Yippie.... Mai papa bngya.... Mai papa bngya aur meri tae mummy bngyi.... Ab hmare baby aayegi....

IU stared at him in shock.
This was the same cold, strict HOD?
Now dancing like a 5-year-old?

A few moments later…

Tae slowly opened her eyes.....
Her vision cleared....
And the first thing she saw—
Was Jungkook jumping and dancing.
She blinked in confusion.

Tae-: isko kya hua....?? Yeh aise paglo ki tarah naach kyu rha hai...??

IU giggled.

IU-: voh abhi aap behosh hogyi thi na.... Toh.....

Tae frowned.

Tae-: (snapped) ohh toh jb mai beemaar hoti hoo ya behosh hoti hoo toh yeh aise dance krke celebrate krta hai....??

IU laughed.

IU-: arey nhi.... Aapko kuchh hota hai toh bhai ka toh roro kr bura haal hojata hai.... Voh toh doctor aayi aur check ki toh doctor ne bola that you're pregnant....

Tae nodded casually.

Tae-: ohh I'm pregnant....

Then—She froze.....Eyes widening.....

Tae-: (Sudden realization... Eyes widen) wait... what..??

IU clapped happily.

IU-: (giggled) haa bhabhi.... Aap mom aur bhai dad bnne waale hai aur mai bua.... Jb se bhai ne yeh news sunni hai tbse voh aise hi khushi ke maare naach rhe hai....

Tae’s eyes filled with tears.
She placed her hand on her stomach.
A soft, emotional smile appeared.
And then— She started crying.....
Jungkook panicked instantly....
He rushed to her.

Jungkook-: ky-kya hua baby... Kahi pain horha hai...??

Tae shook her head.....
Jungkook looked confused.....

Jungkook-: fir ro kyu rhi ho bachcha.... ??

Tae smiled through tears.

Tae-: (giggled while crying) khushi ke aansu hai....

Jungkook’s expression softened completely.
He pulled her into a gentle hug.

Jungkook-: aww mera bchcha.... Maine aapko bola hai na... Aapke aankho mei yeh aansu mujhe bilkul ache nhi lgte.... Toh bilkul nhi rona hai.... Vrna hmara baby kya sochega ki meri mumma kitna roti hai....

He wiped her tears carefully. Tae nodded, smiling. Jungkook cupped her face.....
His voice softer than ever....

Jungkook-: I can't tell you ki aaj tumne mujhe dunya ki sbse bdi khushi dedi.... I love you.... Jaan.... I love you so much....

He kissed her lips gently. Tae blushed deeply. Jungkook rested his forehead against hers.....

Jungkook-: aaj se mai aapka aur hmare baby dono ka mai bhut ache se khyaal rkhunga...

Tae smiled warmly.

Tae-: aap already mera bhut khyaal rkhte ho...

Jungkook smirked softly.

Jungkook-: ab love care protection sb 2×....

IU wiped her happy tears.

IU-: Mujhe bhi importance milegi ya sirf baby ko…?

Both laughed.

Evening – Jeon Mansion

The moment they entered—
Jungkook didn’t even wait.

Jungkook-: Mom!! Dadi!! Sab log kaha ho...

Everyone gathered quickly.

Jin-: Kya hua beta?

Jungkook looked at Tae. Then announced proudly— "My wife is pregnant...."

For a second— Silence.

Then— Explosion of happiness.
Jin ran forward, hugging Tae tightly, kissing her forehead. Hobi dadi followed, showering her with love. JK dada and Namjoon hugged her gently, blessing her.
Yoonmin rushed in. Jimin’s eyes filled instantly. She hugged Tae tightly.
Suga stood beside them, smiling softly—rare, genuine. Then he gently kissed Tae’s head....

Jimin-: cant believe mai Mausi bnne wali hoo....

Suga-: Aur main chacha…

Jimin-: kyu...?? Tum mausi bhi toh bnskte ho...??

Suga-: aise toh tum chachi bhi bnskti ho....

Jimin glared.....Suga smirked.....Classic.....
Sweets were brought.... Everyone fed each other..... Laughter echoed. Jhope danced dramatically. Sugar smirked but smiled.
IU proudly stood like “main bua hoon.”
And in the middle of it all— Tae stood glowing..... Surrounded by love..... Protected.....Cherished.....
And Jungkook?
He never left her side even for a second.
His hand always around her.
Eyes always on her.....
As if she was his entire world.
Because now— She wasn’t just his wife.....
She was the mother of his child.....
And that made her…
Even more precious to him.....
