Suga quickly dialed. Namjoon picked up.

Nam-: Haan Suga—

Suga cut him off.

A pause.

His voice dropped.

He swallowed.

Suga-: Dono behosh ho gayi hain.

On the other side— Something shattered.

Nam-: Hospital le jao unhe. Abhi.

His tone changed...... Firm..... Controlled.

Nam-: Hum aa rahe hain.

Jungkook carried Tae in his arms.
Not letting go. Not even for a second.
Suga sat beside him, holding Jimin tightly.
The car sped through the road. No one spoke. Only the sound of heavy breathing.
And silent tears.

Doctors rushed..... Stretchers.....Bright white lights...... Doors closing.
“Critical observation.”
“Shock condition.”
“Unconscious.”

Words echoed..... But nothing made sense.
Jungkook stood still. Hands clenched.
Eyes fixed on the ICU door.
Suga sat down. Head lowered. Jimin’s dupatta still in his hand. As if letting go would mean losing her completely.
Footsteps rushed in.....Hobi, Jin,Namjoon, JK, IU, Jhope, Sugar...... Everyone.
Hobi looked at Jungkook.

Hobi-: Kahan hai hmari gudiya....

Jungkook didn’t answer. Just pointed toward the ICU... Jin’s eyes filled instantly.

Jin-: Jimin bhi…?

Suga nodded silently.... IU broke down.

IU-: Yeh sab kya ho gaya…

Jhope ran a hand through his hair.

Jhope-: aaj subah tk kitna sb acha tha.... Dono bhabhiya kitni khush thi.... Achanak yeh sb kaise..... Bhai....??

Sugar stood frozen.
Namjoon looked at both his sons.
For the first time— He saw them broken.

Nam-: stay strong....

But even his own voice wasn’t steady.

Through the glass— Two beds..... Two lifeless figures.....Machines beeping.....
Oxygen masks..... Tae looked pale, Fragile....
Jimin completely still..... Like someone had taken away their souls.

Time stopped...... No one ate properly.....
No one slept......

Jungkook sat beside Tae’s bed..... Holding her hand..... Gently... As if she would break.
A tear fell..... He pressed her hand to his forehead.... Complete silence....
Only the slow beep of machines.

His voice lowered.

A tear slipped.

He didn’t wipe it.

2 days later.... After checking....
Doctor finally came out.
Everyone stood up instantly.

Jungkook-: Doctor…?

Suga-: Kaise hain woh?

Doctor sighed..... Serious.

Doctor-: Condition stable hai… but…

Everyone froze.

Doctor-: Dono ko severe emotional shock laga hai.

A pause.
Doctor looked at Suga.

Doctor-: Unhone apni saari memories lose kar di hain.

Silence.

Doctor turned to Jungkook.

Doctor-: Abhi woh 6–8 saal ki bachchi jaisi  smjh rhi hai aur vaise hi behave krrhi hai.... She went into little space.....

Jungkook stepped back slightly.
As if the ground shifted.

Doctor continued—

Doctor-: Sabse important baat…

His tone turned strict.

Doctor-: Unhe stress nahi dena hai.

Doctor-: Past yaad karne ke liye force nahi karna hai.

Doctor-: Agar unke brain par pressure dala…

A pause.

Doctor-: Toh woh 2no coma mein ja sakti hain… ya…

He didn’t complete the sentence.

But everyone understood.

Jin covered her mouth.

Jin-: hey bhagwaan....

Hobi sat down slowly.

Hobi-: Mere bachche…

IU cried openly.

IU-: Tae… Jimin bhabhi...…

Jhope looked away.
Trying to hold himself together.
Sugar clenched her fists.
Namjoon closed his eyes..... Heavy...Broken.

jk-: toh dono kbhi pehle jaise theek ho payengi ya nhi....??

Doctor-: bilkul theek ho payenge.... Its just psychological condition.... Unke parents ki burnt dead bodies dekh kr dono ko bhut bda sadma lga hai.... Yeh sadma aur pain dono bardasht nhi krpayi issiliye jimin ne apni memory loose krdi aur tae little space mei chali gyi.... Agr aap log unka ache se khyaal rkhe.... Unki best treatment kraye.... Unko medicine time se de.... Aur dono ko bhut zyada khush rkhe.... Kisi baat ka koi force ya pressure na de.... Tb time ke sath dono pehle jaisi bilkul theek hojayenge....

Listening everyone felt some relief....

Jk-: kitna time lg skta hai dono ko theek hone mei....??

Doctor-: kuch bol nhi skte..... Theek hone ko toh aaj.... kl..... 1 hafte baad.... 1 mahine baad.... 6 mahine.... 1 saal.... 6 saal.... Kbhi bhi theek ho skti hai.... But made sure aaplog unn dono ki bhut care aur dono ko khush rkhiye.... And no stress please....

Hobi-: don't worry doctor.... Hum apni dono betiyon ka bhut ache se khyaal rkhenge.... Dono hmari ghr ki raunak hai.... Hum apni raunak ko bhut khush rkhenge...

Doctor smiled then nodded his head in OK

Suga stood still.

His expression blank.

Suga-: Matlab…

A pause.

Suga-: Woh mujhe bhi nahi pehchaanegi?

Doctor didn’t answer..... That was the answer..... Suga nodded slowly....
Something inside him broke silently.

Jungkook… Didn’t speak....
Didn’t move..... Just stared at the floor.
Then slowly— He looked up..... Eyes red.

Jungkook-: Woh… mujhe bhool gayi?

Doctor-: She doesn’t remember anything beyond childhood state.

Jungkook laughed softly.... A broken laugh.

Jungkook-: Toh main… uske liye…

A pause.

Jungkook-: Koi nahi hoon?

Silence.

Jin-: doctor kya hum apni 2no betiyon se mil skte hai....??

Doctor-: aap unn dono ki kya lgi....??

Jin-: maa.... Mai dono ki mom hoo....

Doctor-: haa.... Dono ke parents mil skte hai.... Kyuki unki yeh halat unke parents ki dead bodies dekh kr hui hai...... Toh dono aap dono ko hi apne real mom dad smjhengi.... Toh dono ko betiyon ke tarah hi treat krna..... Bahuon ke tarah nhi.....

Namjin-: ji....

Yoonkook-: aur hum.... Hum nhi milskte??

Doctor-: abhi nhi.... Abhi bs dono ke parents grandparents aur siblings jaaye.... Aap dono baad mei jana in dono thoda stable hojayengi tb.... 

Yoonkook just nodded their heads....

Later when both were sleeping then....
Jungkook walked back to Tae’s room.
Sat beside her. Held her small, fragile hand.

Jungkook (softly)-: Theek hai…

A tear rolled down.

Jungkook-: Phir se shuru karte hain…

He leaned closer.

Jungkook-: Tumhe phir se mujhse pyaar karwana padega…

His voice dropped.... Possessive.... Broken.

Jungkook-: Aur iss baar…

A pause.

Jungkook-: Main tumhe kabhi nahi chhodunga.

On the other side—

Suga sat beside Jimin..... Quiet.

Suga-: Tum mujhe bhool gayi ho…

A small exhale.

Suga-: Par main nahi bhoolunga.

He held her hand tightly.

Suga-: Main tumhe yaad dilaunga…

Softly.

Suga-: Apne tareeke se.

The machines kept beeping.
The night stayed silent.
But everything had changed..... Forever.
