The Jeon mansion woke up earlier than usual that Saturday morning.

Not because of alarms.

But because of excitement.

Soft footsteps, hushed whispers, and occasional “shhh!” echoed through the corridors as the entire family moved like secret agents on a mission.

Because today…

And he still had no idea.

Jin stood in the middle of the living room at six in the morning, whisper-yelling while holding a clipboard like she was running a military operation.

Jhope tiptoed across the marble floor with a huge box of fairy lights, nearly tripping.

Jhope-: Mumma..., agar gir gaya na toh birthday decoration se pehle mera funeral ho jayega.

Suga sat on the sofa, scrolling through his phone with his usual bored expression.

Suga-: Relax..... Agar gira toh kookie ke birthday ke saath tera bhi cake cut jayega. RIP version.

Jhope (glared) -: Bhai! Encouragement naam ki bhi cheez hoti hai.

Nam entered the room, sleeves rolled up, expensive watch glinting, expression calm but commanding.

"Status."

Everyone straightened instinctively.

Jin -: Cake ordered, decorations almost done, gifts wrapped, guests arriving by evening....

Nam (nodded once) Everyone listen carefully… aaj koi bhi galti nahi honi chahiye.

Hobi nodded seriously.

Hobi-: Bilkul. Agar Jungkook ko pata chala na… surprise kharab hojayega....

Jhope was trying to quietly blow balloons… but failed miserably.

Everyone froze.

IU-: JHOPE.

Sugar-: haa.... Tum kuch krte hi toh nhi ho.... Yeh balloon phatta isme bhi iss balloon ki hi glti hai....

IU covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.

From the stairs-

Jungkook-: Too late.

Everyone froze.

Kookie stood halfway down the staircase, hair messy, glasses on, looking suspicious.

Jungkook-: ...Why is everyone awake so early?

Jin (gasped dramatically) -: AREY-tum kyun uth gaye?!

Jungkook-: ( blinked) mom yeh mere uthne ka hi time hai.... Mai roz 5 bje hi uthta hoo.... But aap sb itni jldi kaise jage ho....??

Suga-: (smirked) Happy birthday, bud-

Jin-: (slapped his arm) Suga!

Jungkook-: ( squinted) ...Birthday?

IU-: ( panicked and pointed randomly) Mom WAS JUST-uh-redecorating because-uh-VASTU!

jungkook-: (raised an eyebrow) At 5 a.m.?

IU-: Yeah.... Shubh mahurat.... You know...

Nam stepped in smoothly, placing a hand on kookie's shoulder.

Nam-: Tum bhi kya inn sbke baaton mei aarhe ho..... Jaao apne room mei agr kuch kaam hai toh kaam krlo.... Or go back to sleep.... Aaj sunday hai and professor's brain also need some extra rest.....

Jungkook hesitated... then nodded.

Jungkook-: (muttered himself) bdi ajeeb family mili hai mujhe.... Pta nhi kya kya krte rhte hai....

He turned-

And ran straight into tae.
She was standing there in an oversized hoodie, hair in a messy bun, trying-and failing-to hide something behind her back.
Their eyes met.

Jungkook-:( smiled instantly) Morning, baby....

Tae-: (squeaked)M-morning!

He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

jungkook-: kya baat hai.... Aaj tum bhi itni jldi uth gyi....

Tae-: (nodded vigorously) YES! Very early! Very... awake!

Behind her back-
A party popper peeked out.

He narrowed his eyes.

Jungkook-: ...What's that?

Tae-: ( shoved it behind her instantly)
NOTHING!

jungkook-:(laughed, ruffling her hair)Cute.

And walked away.The moment he disappeared- Everyone exhaled.

Jin-: (clutched her chest)BACH GYE

Take-: ( whispered loudly) Sorry sorry sorry! Mujhse control nahi hua!

Nam-:( looked at her fondly)You did well.

BY The EVENING mansion transformed.
Golden fairy lights wrapped around pillars.
Soft music played in the background.
A huge cake stood in the center.
Everyone dressed beautifully.
Lights off..... Silence..... Footsteps.
Jungkook entered..... Confused.

Jungkook-: Sab lights off kyun hai—

LIGHTS ON

Everyone-: SURPRISE!!!

Jungkook froze..... Completely still.
His eyes scanned the room…
decorations… family… smiles…
Then slowly—
his gaze found Tae. Standing in the middle.
Smiling softly..... For a moment…
his cold, composed facade broke.

Jungkook (softly)-: aap log… yeh sab....

IU ran and hugged him.

IU-: Happy birthday bhai!

Jhope jumped on him.

Jhope-: happy birthday old man

Jungkook-: Utar.

Sugar smirked.

Sugar-:  bhai.... kaisa lga bhabhi ka surprise....?

Namjoon placed a hand on his shoulder.

Nam-: Proud of you.

Jin hugged him warmly.
Hobi kissed his forehead.
Even JK (grandpa) nodded proudly.

JK-: mera bchcha

Jungkook smiled faintly.
Then looked at Tae again.

Jungkook-: Tumne plan kiya?

Tae shook her head lightly.

Tae-: Sabne milke…

He walked to her.

Jungkook-: But idea tumhara tha....??

Tae smiled..... Didn’t deny.

He whispered—

Jungkook-: Thank you.

Everyone gathered. Jungkook held the knife.... Tae stood beside him.... Jhope secretly tried to put the frost on kookie's face but failed miserably as kookie held his hands.....

Suga-: make a wish....

Jungkook-: (while looking at tae) I don't need to make a wish.... I already have everything in my life....

Everyone-: awe....

Then he blew the candle then cut the cake.... Everyone fed each other.
kookie fed Tae first.... Slowly.... Softly.
Then wiped cream from her lips with his thumb and licked that wiped cream while looking at her.... Making her blush like a hell..... After cake cutting entire family clicked lots of selfies and pictures together..

Jungkook-: best birthday ever....

Tae-: (smirked) not yet....

Music suddenly changed.Lights dimmed.
Music paused.
Tae stepped forward confidently.
"Ahem."

Jungkook-:(frowned)Tum kya kar rahi ho?

Tae-:( grinned)Special performance.

The familiar tune started playing-

🎶 "Main kya karoon Ram... mujhe buddha mil gaya..." 🎶

kookie's eyes widened in horror., "Oh no."

Tae stepped into the center, tying her hair dramatically.

IU-: Ladies and Gentlemen.... please welcome- jeon tae

tae danced dramatically-mocking old man steps, exaggerated back pain moves, flipping imaginary specs.

She pointed at kookie

"BUDDHAAA!" she sang loudly.

The family LOST IT.

Suga-: (fell off the sofa laughing)
Haan yeh sahi hai!

Jhope-: (clapped wildly) GO BHABHI....

Sugar-: (screamed)ICONIC!

Kookie covered his face., "TAeeee!"

Jin-: (laughed till tears formed) Yeh kya kar rahi hai!....

jungKook -: (buried his face in his hands)
STOP ENCOURAGING HER!

tae danced up to him, wagging her finger.,"35 saal ke ho gaye ho, kookie!"
She ended the performance with jazz hands.
Tae-: Happy Birthday, patidev .

He walked up to her slowly.
Everyone went silent.
Then- He grabbed her waist mid-dance, pulling her close.....

jungkook-: mai buddha hoo... Seriously....

Tae-: ( giggled)Awww buddhe ko romance yaad aa gaya.

Jungkook-: ( kissed her lips)  I love you.
( then picked her up)

Tae-: (squealed) AREY!

Jungkook-: (smiled dangerously) chlo room mei.... Fir btata hoo ki yeh buddha kya krskta hai iss bchchi ke sath....

Tae-: ( giggled) ohh really

Jungkook-: (smirked) Yeah baby....

The room went "AWWWW."

Later party got over.... Everyone went to sleep.... Kookie thought the celebrations were over.

Until- tae took his hand.

Tae-: Come with me.

She led him to their room.The lights turned on.Candles everywhere.Soft music playing.
A small cake.A handwritten card.

Jungkook-: ( froze)...You did this?

Tae-: (nodded shyly) This is just us....

Jungkook-: (pulled her into his arms)
You didn't have to.

Tae-: (smiled up at him) I wanted to.

Tae-: (lit a candle) Make a wish.

Jungkook-:(closed his eyes.Then whispered) Forever with you.

She melted.They cut the cake together.
She fed him a bite.He wiped cream from her lip with his thumb.

Jungkook-: Kya soch rhi thi dance ke time?

Tae-: (giggled) koi itna aged hone ke baad bhi itna cute kaise dikh skta hai....

Jungkook-: (laughed softly, kissing her deeply) My  princess.

He kissed her forehead.Then her nose.
Then her lips-slow, gentle, full of promise.

Tae-: (whispered, smiling) Ab batao... birthday accha laga ya nahi?

jungkook-: (smiled against her lips) Best birthday of my life.

Tae-: (rested her forehead against his)
My birthday boy.

Jungkook-:(full excitement)  acha yeh btao mera gift kaha hai....

Tae-: Diya toh....

Jungkook-: (pouting)  Kb kaha....?? Sbne diya pr tumne kaha koi mujhe gift kiya....

Tae-: Voh dance performance.... Yeh room mei private celebration sb gift hi toh hai....

Jungkook-: Ek minute.... Voh dance gift nhi beizati thi meri.... Aur yeh private celebration toh tumhara duty hai.... Wife ho meri.... Yeh sb gift mei thodi included hai.... Chlo... Mera gift nikalo.... ( pouting)

tae stood up and sat on his lap.... Her hands were behind his neck....

Tae-:( smiling) yeh lo aapka gift....

Jungkook-: Aayein.... Kaha....?? ( looking behind her.... Thinking its in her hand...)

Tae-: (picked a ribbon and stick on her dress ) mai.... (While biting her lower lips....) mai hi toh hoo aapka birthday gift....

Listening this kookie gave her a romantic naughty smile and then his hand went back to her zip.... This made her shy and blushy....

Tae-:  y-yeh aap kya krrhe ho....??

Jungkook-: Nothing.... Just unboxing my favorite gift....( While giving naughty romantic devil smile..)
