The morning after the grand wedding, the Jeon Mansion looked lively yet peaceful. The massive palace-like house was decorated with marigold garlands and fresh rangoli at the entrance to welcome the new bride.

Servants moved around preparing everything for the post-wedding rituals, while the family members gathered in the huge living hall.

Jimin had officially entered the Jeon family the previous night, but the celebrations were far from over.
And unfortunately for Suga… that meant zero romantic time with his wife.

Satyanarayan Bhagwan Puja

The grand temple hall inside the Jeon mansion was decorated beautifully with banana leaves, flowers and diyas. A large idol of Satyanarayan Bhagwan was placed in the center with fruits, sweets and prasad arranged neatly.
The priest sat in front while the entire family gathered around.
Jimin sat beside Suga wearing a simple red saree with sindoor and mangalsutra.
She looked calm and graceful.
Suga however looked like a man whose patience was slowly dying.

Suga (whispering)-: Yeh puja kitni der chalegi?

Jimin( whispering back)-: mini 1 ghnta

IU sitting nearby giggled.

The priest asked the couple to hold the puja thali together.

Suga leaned closer to Jimin.

Suga-: I want to spend some quality time with you.....

Jimin -: abhi nhi.... Baad mei....

Suga-: arey.... Pr baad mei kyu....?? Abhi kyu nhi....??

Jimin-: abhi sb log hai na.... Guests ko jane do fir time spend krte rhna....

Meanwhile Jhope leaned toward Jungkook.

Jhope (whispering)-: Bhai ki halat dekho.

Jungkook( smirking)-: bechare.....

The priest started narrating the Satyanarayan Katha while the couple listened respectfully. Grandma Hobi smiled watching them. She knew Suga was trying very hard to act calm. But his eyes kept drifting towards Jimin.
When the puja ended, the couple offered flowers and did aarti together.
Everyone clapped happily.
After the puja, people started moving toward the dining hall.

Suga quickly grabbed Jimin’s hand and pulled her aside near the corridor.

Jimin (shocked)-: Arre kya kar rahe ho?

Suga (quietly)-: Finally alone.

jimin-: arey pr....

He leaned closer.

Suga (softly)-: Mujhe meri wife se baat karni hai.

Jimin-: haa krlena.... Pr abhi jaarhi ho mom bula rhi hai.

He was about to say something else when suddenly—

IU (shouting)-: Bhabhi! Mom bula rahi hain!

Jimin-: (giggled) see.....

Suga closed his eyes in frustration.

Suga(muttering)-: arey nhi.... Fir se nhi....

Jimin laughed and walked away.

Pehli Rasoi

By afternoon the kitchen was buzzing with activity. According to tradition, the new bride must cook something sweet for the family..Jimin stood inside the huge kitchen wearing a light pink saree with an apron tied by Jin.

Jin (smiling)-: Relax beta. Bas simple kheer banana hai.

Jimin-:  mumma aaplog jaisa toh nhi.... Pr haa.... Zinda rhne layak cooking aati hai....

Jin-: that's enough.....

Meanwhile outside the kitchen door…

Suga stood like lost kitty

Jungkook (amused)-: aap yha kya kar rahe ho?

Suga-: Dekh rha hoo....

Jhope (confused) -: kisko....??

Suga-:(annoyed)  kitchen ke chimney ko.... Sunder hai na......

Everyone laughed.

Inside the kitchen Jimin prepared kheer slowly.

Tae quietly entered.

Tae (whispering)-: Didi… jiju aise bahar lost kitten ki tarah kyu khade hai....

Jimin (facepalming)-: jao unse hi pucho

A few minutes later Jimin brought the kheer outside. She served it first to Grandpa JK and Grandma Hobi.

JK (smiling warmly)-: Bahut achhi hai.

Hobi-: Perfect.

Then everyone tasted it.

When Suga finally got his bowl he took one bite.

Suga-: Not bad.

Jimin (narrowing eyes)-: Not bad

Suga (calmly)-: Theek hai…

Jimin-: theek hai....?? Aap na.... Mere cooking se jalte ho....

Suga-: tumhare cooking se Mai nhi balki khud khana jalta hai....

Jimin-: excuse me.... Pr aaj toh nhi jala na.... Atleast aaj toh tareef krskte ho....

Suga-: haa baby.... Bola toh acha hai....

Jungkook-: arey bhabhi.... Kya aap bhi kisse tarif ki ummeed rkh rhi ho.... Inko apne aur mom ke alawa kisi ke hath ka khana acha nhi lgta.... Sb mei khali kamiyan nikalte rhte hai....

While suga gave him a death stare.....

Jungkook-: (dramatically ) dekho bhabhi aapke billu ji mujhe kaise ghur rhe hai..... Aisa lgrha hai abhi kachcha kha jayenge.....

This made everyone laugh.....

While everyone ate dessert, Tae quietly walked toward the balcony. A few seconds later Jungkook followed. He leaned against the railing beside her.

Jungkook (softly)-: Missd me??

Tae (shyly)-: aap toh saamne hi ho.... aapko kyu miss krungi.... ??

Jungkook (whispering)-: Phir bhi.

He gently held her hand behind the railing.

Tae (blushing)-: koi dekh lega....

Jungkook-: our sibblings already knows.

Tae (laughing)-: Baaki family ko pta chl jayega

He looked at her fondly.

Jungkook-: acha hai na..... Lge haath hum bhi shadi krhi lenge fir ....

Tae turned red.

Tae-: Shut up

Mooh Dikhayi

In the evening the women of the family gathered in the living hall for mooh dikhayi.

Jimin sat on a decorated seat with her veil slightly covering her head.
The elder ladies from the family and close relatives came one by one.
Each of them lifted her veil slightly, admired her beauty and gave gifts.
Jewelry boxes, Gold bangles, Cash envelopes.
Meanwhile the siblings watched the ceremony like it was a reality show.

IU (whispering)-: Bhabhi is looking like a queen.....

Suga-: she's already a queen

Suga stood behind them watching Jimin.
He looked strangely soft.

Jungkook noticed.

Jungkook (teasing) -: Bhaiya..... You're behaving like a highly obsessed lover boy

suga-: I know

Late evening Mr Kim arrived at the mansion. Everyone welcomed him warmly. Jimin ran and hugged her father.
After some time Mr Kim announced something casually.

Mr Kim-: Kal Jimin ghar aa rahi hai paggphera ke liye.

Suga nodded calmly.

Then he added—

Mr Kim-: Ek hafta rukegi.

Silence..... Suga froze.

Suga (slowly)-: Kitne din?

Mr Kim (smiling)-: Seven days.

Jhope burst out laughing.

Jungkook (whispering)-:  bhai ke sath bhut bura hua.... Moment of silence.

Suga looked horrified.

Suga-: Seven days??

Jimin (trying not to laugh)-: Tradition hai.

Suga-: Yeh tradition kisne banaya?

Jin-: purvajo ne.....

Everyone laughed loudly.

Later in their room Suga sat on the bed looking betrayed.
Jimin entered removing her jewelry.

Jimin (amused)-: Itna dramatic kyun ho? Bs 7 dino ki hi toh baat hai.....

Suga-: (dramatically) exactly.... full 7 days..... Seven days matlab 168 hours.

Jimin (laughing)-: Tum calculation bhi kar rahe ho?

Suga( pulling her closer)-: haa toh.... Meri biwi mujhse 7 dino keliye dur jaarhi hai aur mai calculation bhi na karu....??

Jimin (giggling)-: dramebaaz

He rested his forehead on hers.

Suga (softly)-: Mat jao.

Jimin (whispering)-: Sirf ek week.

Suga-: exactly.... 1 week.... Mai kaise rhunga tumhare bina....??

She smiled.

Jimin-: jaise abtk reh rhe the....

Next day Jimin went to Kim Mansion with Tae and Eunwo. The house was decorated again to welcome her.

Mrs Kim hugged her tightly.

Mrs Kim-: Meri beti.

Meanwhile Suga stood outside looking like someone stole his happiness.

Jungkook (teasing)-: Bye bhabhi.

Jhope (waving)-: Take care.

Jimin (softly)-: Miss me...

Suga-: Already missing.

The car left.

Suga stared at the empty gate.

Jungkook (whispering)-: Chlo bhaiya.... Bhabhi gyi....

Yoonmin Reception

Seven days later the grand reception party was held in a luxury hotel.
Crystal chandeliers lit up the massive ballroom. Suga wore a black tuxedo while Jimin looked stunning in a silver designer gown. When she entered the hall everyone turned to look.
Suga immediately walked to her.

Suga-: Finally meri wife wapas aa gayi.

Jimin-: Bas ek week hi toh tha.

Suga (whispering)-: Longest week of my life.

They stood on stage greeting guests.
Meanwhile Taekook danced secretly in a corner. IU caught them.

IU (smirking)-: Cute couple.

Later the DJ started playing slow music.

Suga looked at Jimin.

Suga-: Dance?

They walked to the dance floor.
As they danced slowly, Jimin smiled.
Suga pulled her closer.

Suga-: ab mujhe chhodkr aise kbhi mt jana

Jimin-: kbhi nhi jaungi..... Promise....

Across the hall Jungkook watched Tae laughing with IU. His expression softened.
Because despite all the chaos…
Both families were together.
And love filled every corner of the celebration.
