Time Skip - Four Months Later

Four extremely hectic, sleepless, caffeine-filled, emotionally draining, yet growth-filled months.
The campus of Banaras Hindu University had seen them at their worst and at their strongest. Tae and IU had practically lived in the sociology department building during their MA final semester exams. Notes, highlighters, past year papers, mock tests for UGC NET JRF-everywhere. Meanwhile, Jimin had been juggling board meetings at Kim Enterprises and finishing off some major international deals that had been pending for months. And Sugar? She had given her class 12th boards with full sass and zero mercy to her textbooks-then proudly secured admission in BBA at BHU.

And today-

They had everything they worked for.

Tae and IU cleared UGC NET JRF in Sociology. They got admission in PhD at BHU. Sugar got into BBA, BHU.
Jimin closed her biggest projects successfully.
Four girls. Four victories. So obviously...
Celebration toh banta hai.

Tae was in her room at Kim Mansion, hair tied in a messy bun, wearing an oversized tee and pajama. She was still staring at her JRF result screenshot for the 100th time.
Her phone buzzed.
Group video call - "Queens Only"
She instantly accepted.
The screen split into four.
IU, looking messy with her hair in a bun.
Sugar chewing something.
Jimin still in formal shirt, top two buttons open, sleeves rolled up.

Tae squinted.

Tae-: Jimin di... aap office mein hai abhi bhi?
Jimin-: haa Ab nikl rhi hoon. Parking mein hoon.... Mera deemaag kaam krna bnd krdiya hai toh socha tumsbko hi call krlu...

Tae-: (giggled) haa jldi ghr aao di fir mai aapki favorite cold coffee with ice cream bna kr pilaungi....

Jimin-: haa please.... I badly need it

IU dramatically wiped fake tears.

IU-: Guys... humne kar liya... like actually kar liya.

Sugar rolled her eyes.

Sugar-: Haan haan emotional mat ho. Aap log PhD wale log alag hi level pe ho. Main toh bas BBA wali bacchi hoon.

Tae-: Oye chup. Tu bhi toh boards survive karke aayi hai. That itself is war.

Jimin sighed and leaned back against her seat.

Jimin-: Okay serious talk. We survived. We achieved what we wanted. And we have not properly celebrated.

IU's eyes widened.

IU-: Girls outing?

There was two seconds of silence.

Then all four screamed at once.

Sugar-: YES.

Tae-: Please.

Jimin-: Done.

IU clapped.

IU-: Full day. No boys..... Just we 4....

Tae immediately nodded.

Tae-: Bilkul no boys. Unko btana bhi nhi hai.... Vrna voh 3no bhi aajayenge....

Sugar smirked.

Sugar-: exactly.... Bs hum 4....

Jimin-: Wait. Not telling them? At all?

IU-: bilkul nhi .... Especially suga bhai aur jungkook bhai ko toh halka sa bhanak bhi nhi lgna chahiye vrna voh dono bhi aajayenge fir enjoy krna toh chhodo dono harr cheez mei bolenge yeh mt kro voh mt kro yha mt jao vha mt jaao.... Kitna late hogya hai ab ghr chlo.... Yeh mt khao.... Yeh khao yeh healthy hai..... (Imitating yoonkook)

Tae-: (giggled) exactly.... Aur jungkook sir ko pta chla toh voh hmare peeche apna lunch lekr chlenge.... Yeh khao bahar ka kooda kachra nhi khana hai.... Issiliye suga bhai aur jungkook sir ko glti se bhi nhi btana hai....

IU-: Mom dad ko bs bta denge aur unko boldenge bhaiya logo ko naa btaye....

Jimin-: agr voh log hmei call kiye toh....??

Tae-: nhi uthayenge.... Simple....

IU-: better option.... Jaise ghr se bahar aayenge....sb apna phone silent/do not disturb me mode/ ya unn 3no ko block krdenge..... Jb ghr vaps jaayenge then back to normal....

Sugar-: mst plan hai.....

They giggled.

IU-: Plan suno. Subah shopping. Then spa and massage. Then movie. Then dinner at our favorite restaurant. And night mein clubbing.

Tae gasped dramatically.

Tae-: Clubbing? Mtlb heels naa pehnu na...

Jimin-: vhi pehnenge jisme hum comfortable rhe.... Jisse sb ache se enjoy krske....

IU-: perfect

Sugar-: aur phir main video banaungi.

Tae laughed nervously.

Tae-: This is going to be chaos.

Jimin-: ( smirked) Exactly.

They ended the call with giggles and heart emojis.

And none of them told the boys.

The next day, outside BHU's main gate, their car stopped.

Tae stepped out first-light blue summer dress, white sneakers, hair open. Simple but breathtaking.
Jimin walked behind her-black crop top, beige trousers, oversized sunglasses.
IU came running in pastel pink jumpsuit.
Sugar jumped out last in ripped jeans and oversized tee.
They looked at each other.
And screamed.

IU-: We look so hot.

Sugar-: Obviously. Jeon genes plus Kim genes. Dangerous combo.

Jimin-: Shut up and hug.

They group-hugged in the middle of the parking lot. Students stared.
But They didn't care.

luxury mall.

They walked in like they owned the place.

Tae picked up a soft lavender dress.

Tae-: Guys this look so cute....

Sugar-: Cute? this is beautiful

IU-: Perfect for you..... Jungkook bhai toh tujhe dekh kr pgla hi jayenge....

Jimin-: Buy it.

Jimin tried on a bold red bodycon.

Sugar-: Di... aap yeh pehen ke board meeting mein jaogi toh sab deal sign kar denge voh bhi bina padh ke.

Jimin-: (giggled) kuchh bhi....

Tae-: But you look insane.

IU-: Suga bhai will definitely faint

Jimin-: Let him.

IU tried pastel co-ord sets.
Sugar bought three oversized hoodies and a leather jacket.
By the time they were done, they had at least 10 shopping bags.

Sugar-: IU di.... Aapne abhi kyu bola tae di ko ki iss dress mei jungkook bhai tujhe dekhkr pagla jayenge.....

Hearing this IU giggled but tae's cheeks heat up.... Tae gave a side eye to IU....

Sugar-: ek baat btao.... Tae di jungkook bhai ke pass yeh dress pehn kr kyu jayengi....?? Aur jayengi bhi toh jungkook bhai kyu dekh me pgl honge....??

Tae-: tu iski baat pr kyu dhyaan derhi ho.... Pta nhi hai kya ki yeh pgl hai.... Kuch bhi bolti hai....

IU-: haa... Mai kuch aur boli hongi tune glt sunn liya hoga.....

Sugar-: nhi di.... Maine sahi suna tha aapne abhi bola tha ki jungkook bhai tae di ko iss dress mei dekh kr pgla jayenge.....

Jimin looked at them suspiciously....

Jimin-: tere aur jungkook ke beech kuchh chl rha hai kya...??

Tae-: nhi di.... Bilkul nhi.... IU toh kuch bhi bolti hai.... Aap bhi kya iski baaton ko seriously lerhi ho....

Jimin-: ohh.... Tb theek hai.... Vaise agr aisa kuchh hai toh mujhe zroor btana.... 

Tae-: definitely di.... Aapko nhi btaungi fir kisko btaungi.....

Then they did their billing.....

They collapsed on the mall couch.

IU-: Main thak gayi.

Sugar-: Abhi spa baaki hai di

Tae-: I badly need massage.... My entire body is paining

Jimin-: lets go....

Spa center.....

Dim lights. Soft instrumental music. Lavender fragrance.
They lay side by side in the spa room.
For the first time in months, silence.
Peace.
After the massage-

Tae-: I feel like I had my rebirth

IU-: I feel I'm floating on clouds.....

Sugar-: Aaahhhaaa.... Mzaa aarha hai bhut zyada mzaa aarha hai....

Jimin-: Same.

They laughed softly.

Movie Time

They picked a random rom-com.
Halfway through-

IU-: Yeh hero kitna dramatic hai.

Sugar-: Real life mein koi aise confess karta hai kya?

Tae-: (awkward cough) Haan... matlab... krna chahe toh bilkul kr skta hai....

Jimin-: Ohooo..... Experience.....?? Tujhe kitno aise confess kiya hai....??

IU giggled knowingly

Tae-: Shut up! Mai toh bs aise hi bol rhi thi

Popcorn flying. Cold drinks spilling. Whispered jokes.

Favorite Restaurant

They went to their favorite rooftop restaurant.
Fairy lights. Soft breeze.
They ordered everything they loved-pasta, sushi, biryani, momos, mocktails.

Sugar-: Hum log kitna jldi bde hogye na

IU-: Haan..... But we're still the same....

Jimin-: we promise hum hmesha aise hi rhenge....

Tae-: (singing) hum nhi sudhrenge....×2....

IU-: thoda aur bigdenge.... Hum nhi sudhrenge....

They burst out laughing.

Night - Clubbing Madness

Club lights flashing. Music loud.
Tae and Jimin dragged each other to the dance floor.
IU and Sugar danced too at first.
But after 40 minutes- They were tired.
So they sat at the lounge couch, holding cold drinks and guarding shopping bags.
Meanwhile-
Tae and Jimin were dancing like nobody was watching. Hair flying. Laughing.
Completely carefree.
The day full of madness laughter and unforgettable memories......
