The Space Academy campus had gone quiet for the night.

Lecture halls were locked, corridors dim, and the usual academic chaos had finally settled. But inside Kim Mansion, the atmosphere was anything but calm.

Golden fairy lights wrapped around the pillars. White lilies and soft blue roses decorated the lawn. A long banner hung near the entrance, simple yet powerful:

“Congratulations Dr. Jeon Jungkook
Youngest Social Scientist | HOD – Sociology”

No exaggeration.No flashy words.Just facts.
And those facts still felt unreal to Kookie.

In the taekook's room

Kookie stood in front of the mirror in her room, adjusting the sleeves of her pastel saree. Her hair was loosely tied, minimal makeup, eyes tired but shining.

She stared at her reflection quietly.

PhD, Youngest social scientist,HOD.

She let out a slow breath.
“can't believe..... Finally i did it…” she murmured to herself.

Behind her, Tae leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching her like she was the only thing in the room.
Just his wife.
“You look stressed,” he said softly.

She glanced at him through the mirror.
“Party hai niche… And I still can't believe that I did it.... Aisa lgrha hai yeh sb bs ek sapna hai......”

Tae walked up behind her and rested his chin lightly on her shoulder.

“sapna nhi bunny...." he said, calm and sure,“hakikat hai......”

She turned, her forehead resting against his chest, “Maine kbhi imagine bhi nhi kiya tha ki Mai kabhi itna aage bhi pahunch paungi.”

He lifted her chin gently.
“pr hum sbko pura yakeen tha.... Ki 1 din tum bhut aage jaaogi” he corrected.
" aur dekho.... finally..... You did it”

That look in his eyes — pride mixed with obsession — made her smile instantly.

“you achieved your each and every dreams and goals at such a young age...,” he added quietly.
“And you still think I’ll let you doubt yourself?”

She laughed softly, “Bas bas….”

He smirked,“Too late.”

In the party

The lawn was already full when they stepped outside.

Nam stood near the drinks table, talking business even today — but his eyes kept drifting to Kookie, pride written clearly on his face.

Jin was busy supervising everything, making sure the catering was perfect.
“Beta, dessert thoda late serve karna,” she instructed, then turned to Kookie,
“Aaj tu kuch bhi kaam nahi karegi. Samjhi.... Just enjoy your day....”

Kookie nodded obediently.
“Ji mumma.”

Suga stood with Jimin near the corner.

“She really did it,” he said quietly.
“PhD before time… HOD…”

Jimin smiled, eyes slightly misty, “Meri chhoti behen hai. Obviously karegi.”

Hobi clapped loudly, grabbing everyone’s attention.
“Alright, everyone!” he announced dramatically, “Aaj ka agenda simple hai — celebrate till we drop.”

IU raised her glass.
“To the girl who made sociology sound easy and cool.”

Lisa added instantly,
“And made all of us question our life choices.”

Everyone laughed.

Music played softly in the background. Nothing loud. Nothing dramatic. Just warm.

Kookie moved around, greeting people, receiving hugs and congratulations.

But wherever she went — Tae was never more than a step away.

Suga noticed and smirked.
“Oye babu ki jaan.... Thodi der ke liye toh atleast meri behan ko akele chhod de.... Jb dekho meri behan ke sath chipka rhta hai"

Tae didn’t even deny it.
“ yeh toh nhi hoskta bhai....Meri wife hai. Ab HOD bhi hai. Extra security.”

Jimin laughed.
“iss aadmi ki jab se shadi hui hai na… yeh aur bhi possessive ho gaya hai.”

Tae shrugged.
"kya kru bhabhi.... Voh jaan hai meri....."

Kookie overheard and rolled her eyes.
“dramebaaz.”

He leaned close to her ear, “Good......”

She elbowed him lightly.
“sab dekh rhe hai.... So behave.”

“dekhne do.....I don't care..... ,” he whispered back.
“vaise bhi you're mine.... And people should see how much I love you.”

Her smile softened immediately.

Later, Jin gently tapped her glass.

“Kuch kehna chahti hoon,” she said.

Everyone turned.

“This party,” Jin began,
“is not just about degrees or titles.”

She looked at Kookie lovingly.

“It’s about perseverance. About a girl who never gave up — even when life made her pause.”

Kookie’s throat tightened.

“Tera naam aaj uss department ke darwaze pe likha jaa raha hai jahan tu kabhi student banke khadi thi.”

Applause followed — slow, respectful, emotional.

Tae looked at her, chest swelling with pride.
“Dr. Kim kookie,” he said softly,
“HOD.”

She turned to him.
“Professor Kim Taehyung,” she replied playfully,“my PhD advisor.”

His lips twitched, “My biggest flex.”

Later, away from everyone, they stood near the garden swing.

Fairy lights reflected in her eyes.
“still everything feels surreal,” she said quietly, “ still can't believe my each and every dream are finally came true.... I achieved everything I ones wished to achieve.”

Tae took her hands.
“your some dreams are fulfilled,” he corrected, “ but still many more things are left to achieve.”

She looked at him.
"aapko mujhpr itna bharosa hai?”

“khud se bhi zyada,” he said honestly,
“yeh toh bas shuruaat hai..... Dekhna ab hum dono sath mei bhut kuch achieve kreinge.”

She eyes sparkle.
"Sath mei....sachchi....??”

“100% ,” he replied.

He leaned forward, forehead touching hers.

“I’m proud of you, bunny,” he said, voice steady but emotional.
“Not because you achieve your desire goal.But because you never stopped being you.”

Her eyes softened.
“thank you,” she whispered,
“for always trusting me.... Always motivating me and guiding me everytime.... And always choosing me...”

They stood there quietly, surrounded by soft laughter, distant music, and family voices..... Dreams achieved.....Love intact.... Life steady.And somewhere inside Space Academy, a new nameplate waited:
Dr. Jeon Jungkook
Head of Department – Sociology

And Tae knew —
No title would ever matter more to him than being her husband.
