The church looked different that morning.
Not grand in a loud way, not heavy with decorations — but calm, white, and warm, like it was holding its breath for something sacred.
Sunlight filtered through tall stained-glass windows, scattering soft colors across the wooden pews. White lilies lined the aisle, simple and elegant, their fragrance faint but comforting.
Jin stood near the entrance, adjusting the fall of her saree, eyes scanning every little detail.
“ preparations and all are done....?? Koi kami toh nhi lg rha hai....?” she asked quietly.
Nam nodded, “Haan all done. Everything is just Perfect.”
His voice was calm, but Jin noticed the slight softness in his eyes — the same look he got when one of his children was about to take a big step.
Jimin stood beside her, smoothing the folds of her dress.
"Don't worry mom everything is just perfect,” she said, reassuring.
Behind them, IU was whispering something to Kookie, both of them giggling quietly,“Kya?” Kookie asked, trying to suppress her laugh.
IU leaned closer.
“Hobi bhai ka face dekha? Lag raha hai jaise exam dene jaa rahe hai.”
Kookie peeked toward the altar area.
Hobi stood there in a neat black suit, white shirt, hair styled properly for once. His hands were clasped together, shoulders stiff.
He looked… nervous. Very nervous.
Suga stood beside him, arms crossed, observing silently, “Tension mat le,” Suga said under his breath....
Hobi swallowed.
“mujhe darr lgrha hai.... Aap bol rhe ho tension na loo.....”
Suga smirked.
"I can understand..... But just relax...."
Bogam stood nearby, fixing Hobi’s tie for the third time.
“Bas ek kaam hai,” he said calmly.
“Smile krna. Aur faint mat hona.”
Hobi shot him a look," Hogya aapka....??"
Bogam shrugged,“nhi abhi Bacha hai.”
At the back of the church, Lisa stood still.
White gown. Soft lace sleeves. Minimal makeup. Her hair tied back neatly, a small veil resting lightly over it.
She didn’t look nervous.She looked… calm.
Jin stood in front of her, adjusting the veil.
“Comfortable ho?” Jin asked softly.
Lisa nodded, “Yes, aunty.”
Jin smiled, cupping her cheek gently.
“aunty nhi.... Mom.....”
Lisa’s eyes shimmered, “ji mom.”
Jin smiled cupping her cheek gently...
" Meri beti...."
Kookie stood beside her, holding her bouquet for a moment.
“Ready?” she asked quietly.
Lisa took a deep breath, “Haan.”
IU squeezed her hand, “Hobi bhai faint hue toh main zimmedar nahi hoon.”
Lisa laughed softly.
The church bell rang.Once.Twice.
A hush fell over the room.Everyone stood.
Hobi straightened immediately, heart pounding.
As the doors opened, light flooded in.
Lisa walked slowly, bouquet in hand, steps steady.
Hobi forgot to breathe.
Suga leaned slightly toward Tae.
“yeh toh gaya.”
Tae smiled faintly, “yeh toh hona hi tha.”
Kookie stood beside Tae, her hand slipping naturally into his.
He squeezed it gently.
“She looks happy,” Kookie whispered.
Tae nodded, “Bilkul.”
Lisa reached the altar.
Hobi’s eyes were slightly glassy when he looked at her.
She smiled at him — small, real, reassuring.
And just like that, his shoulders relaxed.
The priest spoke softly, voice echoing gently through the church.
“Today, we gather to witness a promise.”
Hobi and Lisa stood facing each other.
Hands joined.
The priest asked Hobi first.
“Do you take Lisa to be your lawfully wedded wife…”
Hobi swallowed, then nodded,"Yes.”
His voice was steady, but only because he forced it to be.
The priest asked lisa.
“Do you take hobi to be your lawfully wedded husband…”
Lisa answered next,“Yes.”
Simple. Clear. Certain.
When the rings were exchanged, Hobi’s hands trembled slightly.
Suga noticed.
“Haath kaanp rahe hain,” he muttered.
Jimin whispered back.
"bechara kuch zyada hi khush hai"
When the priest finally said —
“You may kiss the bride.”
There was a brief pause.
Hobi hesitated.Just for a second.
From the pews, Kookie whispered loudly
“Abhi bhi permission chahiye kya?”
The church erupted in quiet laughter.
Hobi shot her a look, then leaned forward and kissed Lisa — soft, brief, respectful.
Applause followed.
Finally hobi and lisa are married and became #Holi forever#
When Hobi and Lisa finally walked out of the church, hand in hand, the air felt lighter. Not because the wedding was over — but because something beautiful had just begun. The white church doors opened wide, sunlight pouring in as the newlyweds stepped out together. Lisa’s gown brushed softly against the steps, Hobi steady beside her, his hand firm around hers like he was silently promising, I’ve got you.
Cheers erupted instantly.
“Woohoooo!”
“Congratulations!”
“God bless you both!”
Petals flew in the air, some landing awkwardly on Hobi’s shoulders. He laughed, trying to brush them off, only to make it worse.
“Chhod de,” Suga muttered.
Lisa giggled, leaning slightly into Hobi.
Jin stood a little away, hands folded, eyes misty but smiling.
“hmare sare bachche sath mei kitne khush lgrhe hai,” she said softly to Nam.
Nam nodded,“Bahut.”
The decision to keep the reception cum after-wedding party simple had been unanimous. No grand hall, no heavy arrangements — just an open garden near the church, warm lights strung overhead, round tables, soft music, and food that smelled like comfort.
By the time everyone gathered there, the mood had shifted from solemn to celebratory.
Hobi loosened his tie slightly, finally breathing like a normal human again.
"finally feeling relief....,” he said.
Lisa smiled,"haa finally.... Hogyi hmari shadi...."He looked at her, then smiled properly, “haa finally..."
Just when everyone had settled into conversations, IU quietly picked up the microphone.
She tapped it once,“Tch— hello?”
Instant silence.
IU stood on the small stage, smiling a little too innocently,“Ok guys, listen.”
People turned their chairs.
“So… as you all know,” she continued, dramatic pause included,
“aaj meri bestie ki shaadi hui hai.”
Lisa covered her face shyly. Applause followed.
IU continued, eyes scanning the crowd — and stopping deliberately on Kookie and Jimin.
“To celebrate this very special day,” she said sweetly,
“Kookie aur Jimin di ne ek bahut hi cute aur chaotic dance performance prepare kiya hai.”
The moment the words registered —
Kookie froze.Jimin’s smile disappeared.
Both of them turned slowly toward IU.
What?
Kookie mouthed silently, “KYA? KAB?”
Jimin whispered, “Hum KYU?”
IU smiled wider.
“So please give them a huge round of applause!”
Claps erupted instantly.
Kookie stared at Jimin.
“Tu jaanti thi?”
“No.”
“Main bhi nahi.”
They both looked back at IU, who winked unapologetically.
“You’re dead,” Kookie muttered.
But there was no escape.
People were already chanting —
“Dance! Dance!”
Tae leaned forward in his chair, eyes fixed on Kookie. He smiled,“Good luck, Bunny.”
She shot him a glare.
“Baad mein baat karte hain.”
Kookie sighed, then stood up.
“Fine,” she muttered.
“Let’s do this.”
The moment she stepped onto the stage, the crowd cheered louder.
Tae’s gaze softened instantly — the kind of look he only ever had for her. Pride, fondness, and that quiet adoration he never tried to hide.
Kookie pulled Lisa gently onto the stage and made her stand right in the center.
Lisa laughed nervously.
“Mujhe kyun khada kar diya?”
Kookie grinned,“Bas khadi raho.”
The music started.
🎶 “Hookam chalaungi main… aankh dikhaungi main…” 🎶
The crowd burst into laughter immediately.
Kookie placed one hand on her waist, lifted her chin, and gave Lisa a mock stern look — exaggerated, dramatic, but clearly playful.
She wagged her finger.
🎶 “Sehmi khadi rahegi meri devarani…” 🎶
Lisa tried to suppress her laughter, biting her lip.
Kookie walked around her in slow circles, acting like a bossy jethani, occasionally pretending to scold her with expressions so over-the-top that even Hobi had his head thrown back laughing.
“Yeh kya hai,” he said, shaking his head.
“Meri wife ke saath gundagardi.”
Suga smirked.
Kookie mimicked orders, pointing at imaginary things, flipping her dupatta dramatically, then suddenly breaking into goofy steps just to make Lisa laugh harder.
Lisa finally gave up and laughed openly.
The crowd clapped in rhythm, whistles echoing.
From his seat, Tae didn’t take his eyes off Kookie even once.
Bogam nudged him.
“Bas kar,” he teased.
“Aankhon se hi kha jaayega Kya?”
Tae said with dark romantic voice.
"kya kru yaar...meri biwi aaj full course meal lgrhi hai.....”
"Aish.... Tharki kahi ka..." Bogam smirked
As the song ended, Kookie took a dramatic bow, then hugged Lisa tightly.
The applause was loud, genuine.
Before Jimin could even process what was happening, the next song started.
🎶 “Mera sar hai dukhta…” 🎶
Jimin’s eyes widened,“Oh god.”
But before she could step back, Suga stood up,“Chal,” he said casually.
“Ab toh stage pr jana hi pdega.”
The crowd erupted again.
As soon as they reached the stage, Jimin acted out the lyrics perfectly — rubbing her head dramatically, pretending to complain, hands flying everywhere.
🎶 “Kahu main daba du…” 🎶
Suga stepped behind her, mock-massaging her head with exaggerated seriousness, making ridiculous faces.
People were laughing uncontrollably now.
🎶 “Hai khana pakana, kahu main pakaadu…” 🎶
Jimin pretended to stir an imaginary pot angrily, while Suga acted like a helpless husband being ordered around.
When the line came —
🎶 “Yoonmin ke daddy zara aana…” 🎶
Jimin pointed at Suga dramatically.
“Darling, hukum farmana!”
Suga sighed dramatically, saluted her, and danced obediently.
Hobi clutched his stomach laughing,
" bass kro.... Mera paet dard horha hai...” he said between laughs.
Lisa wiped tears from her eyes.
“Best wedding gift ever.”
The performance ended with Jimin pretending to chase Suga off the stage with imaginary chappals.
Standing ovation.
As the night slowly settled, laughter softened into conversations.People ate, talked, clicked pictures.Hobi and Lisa sat together, fingers intertwined, still smiling like they couldn’t believe this was real.
“Humari shaadi mein zyada drama ho gaya,” Lisa said softly.
Hobi shrugged.
“this is normal.... Iski aadat daal lo.”
Nearby, Tae wrapped his arm around Kookie’s waist.
“You were amazing,” he said quietly.
She leaned into him,“it was done onspot.... No preparation nothing ”
He smiled, “My favourite kind..... My talented bunny”
By the time the newlyweds finally reached home, exhaustion had settled in — the good kind.
Lisa stepped inside, looking around.
“wow.... Beautiful,” she whispered.
Hobi closed the door behind them.
“yes so beautiful.” while looking at her
She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder.Outside, laughter still echoed faintly in memories.Inside, there was peace.A long day.A beautiful beginning.
And a family that celebrated love not with perfection — but with warmth, chaos, and a lot of heart.
