The truth had finally come out. The living room of the Kim mansion was still echoing with shocked gasps, dramatic accusations, and overlapping voices when Kookie suddenly turned silent.No shouting.No drama.No crying.Just… silence.
She looked at Lisa once.Then at Hobi.
Her eyes—usually so expressive—were calm. Too calm.
Without saying a single word, she turned around and walked straight toward her room. Her steps were fast,Sharp,Angry.
The door to her room shut with a firm thud.And just like that—
The atmosphere shifted.

Lisa’s face went pale,“Ye… yeh theek nahi hai,” she whispered, panic crawling into her voice,“Kookie ka aise chup rehna… this is dangerous.....”

Hobi swallowed hard,
“Mujhe bhi wahi lag raha hai.”

From the couch, Jin crossed her arms dramatically,"This is wrong.... Yeh theek nhi hai.....Voh aise kbhi shant nhi hui....."

Nam adjusted his glasses,“She’s hurt.”

Lisa’s eyes instantly filled with tears.
“I need to talk to her,” she said, standing up abruptly, “She’s my best friend.”

Hobi followed her immediately.
“Main bhi aa raha hoon.”

And together, with hearts pounding and guilt weighing heavy on their shoulders, they walked toward Kookie’s room.

Lisa raised her trembling hand and knocked softly, “Kookie…”
“Sunn na… please…”

No response.

She knocked again, a little louder.
“Kookie, please open the door…”
“I’m sorry…”

Still nothing.

Lisa’s voice cracked.
“I know maine galat kiya…”
“Par please… ek baar baat toh kar…”

Inside the room—

Kookie sat on her bed.Arms folded.Face expressionless.Eyes fixed on the wall.She heard every word.Every sob.But she didn’t move.She didn’t speak.She let the silence speak for her.

Outside, Hobi ran his hand through his hair, frustration spilling out.
“Arey yaar… yeh hmne yeh krdiya.....”

Listening this she leaned against the wall and muttered, “Maine bola tha…”
“Bola tha aapko…”

Hobi turned toward her sharply, emotions exploding, “Kya bola tha tumne??”

Lisa  looked at him, guilt written all over her face.“Maine bola tha—Kookie ko at least bata dete hain.”
“Par aapne kya bola tha—?”

she mimicked him softly,“‘Don’t worry… we’re not lying… we’re just hiding.’”

Lisa snapped, “And now look at this!”

She turned back to the door, voice rising.
“Now see—!!!”
“Aaj aapki wajah se meri bestie mujhse gussa ho gayi!”
Her voice echoed down the hallway.

Hobi  looked at closed door, guilt written all over his face, "shit....Shit..... Shit..... Bhut bdi glti hogyi humse..... You're right.... Hmei kookie ko atleast btana chahiye tha...."

Five minutes passed.....Ten....Still no response.

Lisa finally lost control.She slid down near the door, crying openly.“Kookie…” she sobbed, “Please… I’m really sorry…”

Inside—

Kookie’s lips twitched.But she stayed silent.

Meanwhile Tae, who had been watching everything quietly, finally decided to intervene.He walked toward Kookie’s room, concern etched on his face.
“yeh Thoda zyada ho gaya.... Lgta hai sach mei gussa hogyi....,” he murmured to himself,“Ab toh isko manaana padega.”

He opened the door gently—And froze.
Because instead of a broken, angry Kookie.
He saw her dancing.Music playing softly.
Hair loose.Spinning happily in the middle of the room.

Tae’s jaw literally dropped, “…BUNNY???”

Kookie turned, eyes lighting up when she saw him.She ran toward him, grabbed his hand, and pulled him in,“Come naaa!!!”

Tae stumbled, “Wait—what—??”

She laughed and twirled him.

“Tum toh abhi gussa thi na??” he asked, completely confused.

She tilted her head innocently,“Nahi.”
“Kisne kaha?”

He stopped dancing and stared at her.
“Arey toh abhi jo tum gusse mein aise andar aayi thi—woh kya tha??”

She leaned closer, winked,“Acha woh…”
whispered in his ears with a smirk, “NATAK.”

Tae blinked.“…Natak?”

She wrapped her arms around his shoulders mischievously.
“Arey—unn dono ne hum sab se itni badi baat chhupaayi.”
“Toh itni jaldi thodi maaf kar denge.”

Her smile turned wicked.
“Aakhir unhe bhi thoda preshan karna chahiye.”

Tae chuckled, “You’re such a tease.”

She grinned devilishly....

“tumko pata hai?”
“tum  jaise hi main room mein aayi na—”

“ sb ghbra gye.... Tumhara gussa dekh kr.... Aur  dono ka darr ke maare kya haal hua hai.”, Tae giggled.

“Sach?”
“Acha hai.”
“Logo ko darr hona chahiye,” Kookie said, winking.

He gently pulled her cheeks, “Okay… fine.”
“Par zyada preshan mat karna.”
“Jaldi maan jana.”

She nodded confidently,
“Haan haan… don’t worry.”
“They should realize their mistake.”
“Phir maaf kar dungi.”

Her eyes sparkled.
“Tab tak thoda maze lete hain.”

Tae smiled, “Okay.”

Then tae went out....,"Dekho.... Maine aajtk apni buuny ke aankhon mei aansu nhi aane diya..... Tum dono ke vjh se ander meri bunny ki yeh halat hogyi hai.... Ab jao manao jldi usko...." Said while showing fake anger...

Lisa knocked again while crying.... After a few more minutes of silence, Kookie finally opened the door.Lisa and Hobi instantly straightened up.

Kookie stood there, arms crossed, “What.”
One word.Flat.Cold. unreadable....

Lisa immediately stood up,“I’m sorry,” she blurted out,“Sach mein sorry .”

Hobi joined her,“Kookie… hum dono ne tumko pehle na bta kr bhut bdi glti krdi......”

"Tum hmei maar, chilla, gussa kr, gali dede.... Bs please.... Kuch toh bol.... Aise chup mt rho....." Lisa sobbed

Kookie turned around and walked back to her bed.She sat down.Silent again.

Lisa followed hesitantly.
“Kookie… you're my childhood bestie.....”
"mai toh inko starting se bol rhi thi ki kookie ko bta dete hai.... But inhone bola.... Pehle hum khud confirm hojate hai fir btayenge....."

Hobi added softly.
“Mujhe laga tha sahi time aane par bata denge.”
"Trust me.... Aaj hi hmne decide kiya tha ki tujhe aur bhai ko sb khud aakr bta denge...." Gasped dramatically," usse pehle hi aap dono ne hmei range hatho pkd liya....."

Lisa held Kookie’s hand,“I was scared.”
"ki kahi tu mujhe aur hmari friendship na tod de.....”

Kookie finally looked up, "ohh really...."
" You're sorry.... "

They both nodded.

"You both are now realizing your mistake"

Lisa broke down completely.
“I know… I’m sorry…”

Kookie stared at them for a long second.
Suddenly—
Kookie burst out laughing. Loud. Uncontrollable. Head thrown back.
Hand on stomach.

Hobi and Lisa froze.They stared at her like she had lost her mind.
“Kya hua tujhe…??” Hobi asked nervously, “Tu aise hass kyun rahi hai??”

Lisa panicked,
“Kookie… tu theek hai na??”

Kookie laughed harder, “Shakal dekho apni,” she said between laughs.

Both blinked, “Huh?”

She wiped her tears of laughter.
“Kaise lag rhe ho dono?”
“Matlab… tum dono ke faces—pure horror movie.”
"Mujhe nhi pta tha.... Aap dono ko mujhse itna darr lgta hai...."

They stared at her, confused.

Then she controlled her laughter.
“Bolna padega,” she said dramatically.
“Kaisa laga mera mazaak?”

Lisa’s eyes widened, “Wait—what??”
“Mazaak??”

Hobi gasped, “Kya matlab—??”
“Yeh tune humare saath prank kiya???”

Kookie grinned, “Obviously.”
“Aapko kya laga—sirf aap dono hi acting kar sakte ho?”

She stood up proudly, “Aap dono ko aapki galti realize karwane ke liye maine chhota sa prank kiya.”

Hobi let out a deep breath,“Yaar—tune toh humein dara hi diya tha.”

Lisa suddenly hugged her tightly, crying.
“I’m sorry…”
“Aaj ke baad kabhi kuch nahi chhupaungi.”

Hobi asked softly.
“Tu humse gussa nahi hai…?”

Kookie hugged them back, “No.”
“Never.”

She smiled warmly.
“Main toh sabse zyada khush hoon.”
“Ki finally meri childhood bestie meri officially bhabhi banne wali hai.”

Lisa cried harder.

From the door, IU jumped in dramatically.
“AB MAZA AAYEGA NA BIDDU—!!!”
“Ab hum khoob masti karenge!”

Jimin clapped, “Exactly!”
“Dance bhi karenge!”

Kookie laughed, “Haan di.”
“Hum apni shaadi mein bilkul  enjoy nahi kar paaye the.”
“Par yeh humare ghar ki last shaadi hai.”

She raised her hands dramatically.
“Ismein khoob dance hoga.”
“khub enjoy kareinge.”

Later that night, NamJin sat together.
Serious.Calm.Responsible.

Jin spoke first.
“Chaar saal ka rishta hai.”

Nam nodded,“This relationship is serious,”said thoughtfully.

Jin nodded,“Lisa achhi ladki hai.”

Nam smiled,
“Kal uske parents ko batate hain.”

Jin raised an eyebrow, “So soon?”

Nam nodded calmly,"Kal poori Kim family unke ghar jayegi.”

He paused,“Dates bhi finalize kar lenge.”

Jin smiled, “Perfect.”

From behind, Taekook exchanged a look.

And Kookie leaned into Tae, whispering,
“Prank successful.”

Tae smiled,"oscar winning performance"

Kookie giggled....

And the Kim mansion once again echoed with laughter, love, and the promise of a new beginning.
