The Kim Mansion was unusually quiet.
Too quiet.
The kind of silence that came only after chaos—after fear, after bloodless wars fought in shadows. Outside, the city slept peacefully, unaware that its safety rested on four men who ruled the darkness without mercy.
It had been two days since Kookie was brought home.
Two days of extra hugs.
Extra food.Extra watchful eyes.
Tae hadn’t let her sleep alone even once. He stayed awake longer than necessary, fingers always brushing her wrist as if reassuring himself she was real, she was safe, she was here.
Inside one of the bedrooms—
Kookie sat curled up on the bed, wrapped in a soft blanket, eyes wide open.
She hadn’t slept.
Not because she was scared anymore.
But because her world no longer made sense.
Nam stood near the window, posture straight, hands behind his back. The businessman mask was on—but thinner than usual.
Suga leaned against the wall, arms crossed, expression unreadable but jaw tight.
Hobi sat on the armrest, unusually quiet, foot bouncing nervously.
Tae sat beside her, leaning forward, elbows on knees, fingers interlocked tightly. His jaw was clenched, eyes dark—not cold, not angry—just afraid.
For the first time in years…
Tae was scared.
None of them spoke.
They all knew.
This conversation was inevitable.
Kookie Breaks the Silence
Her voice came soft, but steady.
Kookie tilted her head.
“Dad… can I ask something?”
Tae’s fingers tightened around her hand.
“Anything, baby.”
She inhaled slowly.
“When I was kidnapped… the way everything happened… the way people got scared just by hearing our name…”
Her gaze locked onto Nam.
“…you’re not just a businessman, right?” Silence crashed into the room.
Hobi swallowed hard.
Suga leaned back, eyes narrowing—not in anger, but calculation.
Tae’s heart dropped straight to his stomach.
Nam didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he stood up, walked to the bar, poured himself water, and then turned around.
His face—calm. Controlled. Powerful.
"Kookie,” he said quietly, “some truths change how you see people.”
She nodded.
“I already see you all differently.”
Tae flinched.
“…Not in a bad way,” she added quickly. “Just… clearly.”
Suga rubbed his jaw.
“She knows.”
Hobi muttered,
“Yeh toh hona hi tha.”
Tae looked at Nam. “Dad—”
Nam raised a hand.
“No lies anymore.”
Suga muttered, “Aa gaya waqt.”
Hobi whispered, “Bhagwan bachaye.”
Kookie took a deep breath.
“Main stupid nahi hoon.”
A small, nervous smile appeared.
“Mujhe sach jaan’na hai.”
He turned around.
“Kookie,” he said calmly, “jo tum pooch rahi ho… uska jawab tumhari zindagi badal sakta hai.”
She nodded.
“Mujhe darr nahi lagta.”
Suga scoffed under his breath.
“Isko darr lagta hi kab hai.”
Hobi muttered,
“Wahi toh problem hai.”
Tae squeezed Kookie’s hand.
“Baby,” he whispered, “agar hum sach bata dein… tum humse nafrat—”
She cut him off immediately.
“Impossible.”
That single word hit him harder than any bullet ever could.
Tae stood up.
He walked to the door.
Opened it.
“Come in,” he said quietly.
The Confession Room
The four men stood in front of her.
Not as mafia. Not as rulers. But as family.
Nam’s expression was unreadable.
Suga looked uncomfortable.
Hobi scratched the back of his neck.
Tae stood closest to her—like a shield.
Kookie looked at all of them.
Then smiled nervously.
“Aaj sab serious kyun lag rahe ho?”
No one laughed.
That’s when she knew—This wasn’t a joke.
Nam finally spoke.
“Kookie,” he said calmly, “jo tumne dekha… woh humari asli duniya ka sirf ek chhota sa hissa tha.”
She blinked. “Asli duniya?”
Suga added bluntly, “Hum log… normal nahi hain.”
Hobi nodded. “Matlab… thode se dangerous.”
Tae interrupted quickly. “But sirf bure logon ke liye.”
Kookie’s brows furrowed.
She sat straighter.
“Clear bolo,” she said softly. “Please.”
Nam turned fully toward her.
No lies.No hiding.
“I am the king of the dark mafia underworld.”
Silence.
He looked straight at her.
“I rule the dark underworld.”
The words fell like thunder.
Before anyone could react—
Suga added flatly,
“Mafia king.”
Hobi nodded awkwardly.
“ we rule the entire world....”
Tae shut his eyes briefly.
“And hum,” Suga continued, pointing to himself, Tae, and Hobi,
“Uske princes.”
Silence crashed.
For one heartbeat.Two.Three.
They waited.
Expected fear, Tears, Shock,Maybe disgust.
Instead—
Kookie’s eyes widened.
Then sparkled.Her eyes widened.
Her mouth fell open. And suddenly-
She jumped up from the bed.
“WAIT—WHAT?!”
Everyone stiffened.
Her blanket fell to the floor as she started hopping in place.
“WOW!”
Nam frowned. “Kookie—”
She spun around excitedly.
“AAPLOG SACH MEI MAFIAS HO?!”
She gasped dramatically.
“Guns, power, secret meetings, dark suits, underground rules—WALE?!”
Suga blinked.
“…Haan.”
She clapped her hands.
“Asali waale?!”
Hobi muttered, “Yeh kaunsa sawaal hai… obviously....”
Kookie squealed.
“WOW WOW WOW!”
She started literally dancing.
“OMG OMG OMG—”
Tae panicked. “Baby—listen—”
She cut him off, pointing dramatically.
“Matlab papa mafia king—”
She pointed at Suga and Hobi.
“bhaiya aapdono mafia prince—”
Then grabbed Tae’s arm tightly.
“AUR MERA HUSBAND BHI MAFIA PRINCE?!”
She gasped loudly.
“YIPPIEEEEE!”
Dead silence.
Suga rubbed his eyes slowly.
“…Isko kya hua?”
Hobi whispered, terrified, “Pata nahi… pagal toh nahi ho gayi?”
Tae’s face went pale.
He grabbed her shoulders gently.
“Kookie… shayad tum samajh nahi rahi ho..... Let me explain....”
She grinned.
“Nahi nahi—mai bilkul samajh rahi hoon!”
She puffed her chest proudly.
“Matlab mai mafia king ki beti hoon… mafia prince ki behan hoon… AUR mafia prince ki wife hoon!”
She jumped again.
“MATLAB MAI MAFIA PRINCESS HOON!”
She froze dramatically.
Then whispered with awe—
“Wow.”
Suga rubbed his eyes hard.
“Main kya koi sapna dekh raha hoon?”
Nam looked at Suga.
Suga looked at Hobi.
Hobi looked at Tae.
Taehyung whispered, "kahi yeh sadme mei toh nhi chali gyi issiliye aise krrhe hai...."
Kookie gasped suddenly.
“WAIT.”
She pointed accusingly.
“Mujhe bachpan se mafia stories bhut pasand hai!”
Suga stared at the ceiling.
“Yeh din bhi dekhna tha.”
Hobi whispered,
“bhai… yeh sach mei khush hai.”
Taehyung panicked.
She clasped her hands.
“Mera toh dream tha ki ek baar mai kisi mafia se milu!”
She looked around.
“PR WOW—MERE HI GHAR MEI 4-4 MAFIA RULERS HAIN!”
Suga groaned.
“Isko Netflix kam dikhao..... Nhi bnd krwado.... Pta nhi kya kya dekhti hai...”
Hobi burst out laughing.
“Yeh toh ulta hi nikla.”
Tae held his head.
“Bekaar hi bata diya isko…”
She plopped down on the bed happily.
“Mazza aa gaya.”
Hobi muttered, “Yeh humari baby hi hai na?”
Suga frowned. “Ya kisi aur ne replace kar diya?”
Nam cleared his throat.
“Kookie,” he said slowly, “tumhe darr nahi lag raha? Yeh jaankr ki hum mafias hai....”
She shook her head immediately.
“Bilkul nahi.”
“Na gussa?” Tae asked carefully.
She tilted her head. “Kyun gussa kyu aayega..?”
Suga raised a brow. “Hum log logon pr—”
She interrupted cheerfully.
“Bura logon ko saza dete ho.”
Silence again.Her smile softened.
“Mujhe pata hai aap sab bure nahi ho.”
She walked up to Nam and hugged him tightly.
“ mere Papa toh best hai.....”
Nam’s eyes softened dangerously fast.
He looked away.
Tae suddenly knelt in front of her.
“Kookie,” he said seriously, holding her hands, “ek baat suno.”
She nodded eagerly. “Haan?”
“Yeh baat kisi ko nahi batani.”
She blinked. “Kisi ko bhi?”
“nhi kisi ko bhi nhi.... Bilkul bhi nhi.... Glti se bhi nhi.... Especially,” he stressed, “IU, Lisa, Jimin aur Jin Mom ko bhi nahi.”
Her face fell. “KYA.... Pr kyu?!”
“Woh log darr jayenge,” Tae explained gently. “Yeh humara top secret hai.”
Nam nodded. “Is duniya ke baare mein sab nahi jaante.”
Kookie pouted.
“Par mai flex kaise karungi?”
Everyone froze.
“…Flex?” Hobi repeated.
“Arey haan!” she said enthusiastically. “Mai sabko bataungi—mai mafia princess hoon!”
Tae almost fainted.
“Nahi!” he said quickly. “Bilkul nahi.”
She crossed her arms stubbornly.
“Toh phir faayda kya?”
Suga groaned. “Faayda yeh hai ki tum zinda ho.”
She sighed dramatically.
Then smiled slowly.
“Hmm.”
Everyone tensed.
Then—
“Chalo theek hai.”
All four blinked.
She shrugged.
“Nahi bataungi.”
Tae exhaled in relief.
She grinned mischievously.
“Waise bhi secret mafia princess banke rehna zyada exciting aur adventurous hoga.”
She winked.
“Undercover.”
Hobi burst out laughing.
“Yeh ladki alag hi hai.”
Suga shook his head.
“most dangerous mafia princess.”
Nam smiled faintly.
Tae pulled her into his arms tightly.
“Tumhe sach mein darr nahi laga?”
She whispered against his chest.
“Jab aap log mere saath ho… mujhe kisi se darr nahi lagta.”
His eyes burned.
Nam placed his hand on her head.
“Then it’s settled.”
He looked at his sons.
“Yeh humara secret rahega.”
Kookie saluted playfully.
“Yes, Mafia King....oops Papa.”
Suga smirked. “ our Princess.”
Hobi grinned. “Baby boss.”
Tae kissed her forehead.
“My brave bunny.”
She smiled.
Kookie smiled happily, snuggling into him.
“Waise Tete…”
“Hm?”
“Kal se mujhe mafia training milegi na?”
Everyone yelled—“NO.”
Her laughter echoed through the mansion
And for the first time, the darkest rulers of the underworld realized—
Their greatest strength wasn’t fear
Because that night—
She didn’t lose her innocence.
She gained a crown.
A secret one.
