Taekook wedding shopping 2.0

"Ok.... Taekook ka 4th wedding anniversary 2 din mei hai.... And as we have decided that hum  unke 4th wedding anniversary pr unki dubara shadi krwayenge..... And that wedding will be grand.... Usme bs family members and tae and kookie ke besties rhenge.... But that wedding will be official and legal wedding of taekook.... So kl se wedding preparation shuru kreinge...." Jin said with excitement

Listening this everyone became happy and excited.... While taekook were shy.....

"Joonie aap please pehle ke tarah catering decorators etc sambhalna mai gifts and bchcho ki shopping handle krlungi.... Fir dono sath mei venue finalize kreinge..... " jin instructed

"Ok... Jinu.... Jaisa tum kaho...." Nam replied with a smile.....

Then slept peacefully after having their dinner.....

Next morning...... (1jan,2023)

Four years since the vows were whispered with trembling hands and wet eyes.
Four years since Tae had slid a simple ring onto Kookie’s finger, promising forever in the quietest way possible.
Four years since the family had gained its youngest bride—and its most treasured daughter.

And yet…

Here they were again.

Planning a wedding.

Because according to Kim Seokjin, “Shaadi ek baar ho ya do baar, shopping toh poori honi chahiye..... Aur ho bhi kyu na.... Aakhir ghr ke laadle bchcho ki shadi.... Oops.... 4th wedding anniversary hai ya yoon kahu.... Taekook ka remarriage hai..... Aur iss baar balika vadhu nahi hai.... taekook ki real official legal marriage hai.... Toh grand toh hogi hi na...”

Are you sure this is necessary?” Nam asked, standing by the massive glass window of their penthouse, phone pressed to his ear as he spoke to a venue manager.

Behind him, Jin stood with crossed arms, eyebrow raised, lips curved into a knowing smile.

“Necessary?” Jin scoffed. “joonie, our kids deserve this.”

They’re already married.”

So?” Jin shot back. “They were married quietly. No grand wedding. No rituals. No celebration. And it’s their fourth anniversary. It’s symbolic....official and legal.....”

Nam sighed, but there was softness in his eyes.
He turned around slowly.

“You’re just looking for an excuse to spoil them.”

Jin gasped dramatically. “How dare you expose me like this.”

Nam chuckled. “Fine.... Book the venue you like. I’ll handle everything else.”

Jin clapped her hands excitedly. “Good. Because tomorrow, I’m taking all my five kids for wedding shopping.”

Nam froze. “All five?”

“Yes.”

“You’re brave.”

No,” Jin smiled sweetly. “I’m prepared.”

The next morning, the Kim mansion looked like a battlefield.

Designer catalogues scattered everywhere.
Car keys missing....Shoes mismatched.

And Jin, standing at the center of it all, armed with a checklist and a coffee mug.

“Everyone! Living room! Now!”

Tae appeared first, impeccably dressed as always, holding Kookie’s hand protectively.
Kookie looked half-awake, hair tied loosely, oversized hoodie swallowing her tiny frame.

Jimin followed, calm and graceful, gently scolding suga who was already irritated.

“I told you to eat breakfast.”

“I had coffee.”

“That’s not breakfast.”

“It is for successful people.”

Hobi burst in last, practically vibrating with excitement. “mom! Is this like real wedding shopping? Like drama, fights, emotional breakdowns?”

Jin smiled ominously. “Yes, sunshine. Exactly like that..... Like we did 4 years ago....”

Kookie blinked. “mom… why do we need wedding shopping again?”

Jin walked over and cupped her face gently.
“Because my baby deserves the wedding she never got.”

Tae tightened his grip on Kookie’s hand.

She already has everything,” he said softly. “Me.”

Kookie blushed instantly. “T-Tete…”

Suga gagged. “I regret coming.”

they sat in the car.... And went for their wedding shopping.....
The first stop was the most luxurious bridal boutique in the city.

As soon as they entered, the staff practically bowed.

“Mrs. Kim, welcome.”

Jin smiled graciously. “Thank you. We’re here for wedding outfits.... For my 2 babies.”

Suga muttered, “Why does this sound like a math problem?”

Kookie was led inside the bridal section.

The moment she saw the lehengas and gowns, her eyes widened like a child in a candy store.

mumma… they’re so pretty…”

Jin chuckled. “Try everything.”

Tae sat outside the trial room, pretending to scroll on his phone while actually listening to every sound.

The curtain opened.

Kookie stepped out in a soft ivory gown, embroidery shimmering delicately.

Tae forgot how to breathe.

Suga whistled. “tae, blink.”

Jimin smiled warmly. “She looks beautiful.”

Hobi wiped imaginary tears. “Our baby is getting married again!”

Tae stood up slowly, eyes glued to her.

“bunny…” his voice dropped. “You look… unreal.”

She blushed, tugging the dupatta nervously.
“Too much?”

No,” he stepped closer. “Perfect.”

Jin’s eyes softened.

That’s the one,” she said. “But try more.”

Tae panicked. “Why?”

“Because shopping..... And I want my baby to have best wedding dress,” Jin replied calmly.

Tae was dragged to the groom section.

He tried suit after suit while Kookie sat on a couch, munching snacks suga had secretly bought her.

Finally, Tae stepped out in a deep royal blue suit.

Kookie stood up instantly.

Her eyes sparkled. “You look like a prince.”

Tae smiled softly. “Your prince.”

Suga groaned. “I need therapy.”

Next came jewelry shopping.

The moment Jin said, “Let’s look at necklaces,” suga already looked exhausted.

Kookie was seated at the center while necklaces were tried on her one by one.

“This one is too heavy.”

“This one is too simple.”

“This one doesn’t match her face.”

Tae leaned close to Kookie and whispered,
“Tum kuch bhi pehno, pr tum sirf meri ho....jaan...”

She smiled shyly. “Still… mom will kill me if I don’t choose properly.”

Jin watched them with misty eyes.

Tae,” she said suddenly.

“Yes, mom?”

“Thank you for loving her the way she deserves.”

Tae bowed his head respectfully. “She is my love.... My life mom.”

Kookie’s fingers tightened around his sleeve.

Gift shopping turned into utter madness.

Hobi picked matching outfits for himself and Kookie.

Suga bought expensive watches without blinking.

Jimin chose meaningful gifts—photo frames, handwritten notes, symbolic jewelry.

Kookie kept getting overwhelmed.

“Why is everyone buying so much for me?”

Suga flicked her forehead gently.
“Because you’re our baby. Don’t argue.”

She hugged him instantly. “I love you Bhaiya.....”

He froze. “…Don’t make it weird.”

While all this happened, Nam was fighting his own battle.

“Sir, the caterer says royal menu will cost extra.”

Fine.”

“The decorator wants advance.”

“Pay it.”

“The florist—”

“Done.”

He rubbed his temples.

“Why did we decide this again?”

Then his phone buzzed.

A picture from Jin:
Kookie laughing, surrounded by bags, Tae staring at her like she hung the stars.

Nam smiled softly.

“Worth it.”

By evening, everyone was exhausted.

Shopping bags filled the cars.

Kookie slept against Tae’s shoulder.

Jin watched them quietly.

“My babies,” she whispered.

The wedding wasn’t necessary.

But their love?

That was worth celebrating again.....
