The house was finally silent after the small, private Taekook wedding.
Secret, emotional, family-only.

But inside the Kim mansion, one room was glowing with soft fairy lights —
Tae’s room.

Because tonight…
for the first time…

Kookie, the youngest, most pampered baby of the family, would be sleeping in Tae’s room.

Not as a “bride”…
but as a baby bunny who didn’t know how to sleep without her unicorn plushie and banana milk.

And the entire family knew it.

"Chaos officially began outside Tae’s door."

Tae stood in front of his bedroom door, holding a soft pink blanket Kookie liked.
He was decorating the bed with plushies when suddenly—

THUMP THUMP THUMP

The door burst open.

Nam, Jin, suga, Jimin, and Hobi marched inside like a security team.

Tae blinked.
“ Uh… kya hua? Why are you all looking like CID squad?”

Nam crossed his arms.
“ Tae… aaj ki raat BOHOT important hai.”

Jin stepped forward, dramatic mom-mode activated.
“ Bachchi ko sulaane ke ilawa kuch bhi important nahi hai.... Samjhe?”

Tae frowned. “ mom, I know she’s a baby"

Suga snapped.
“ Exactly. She’s a literal baby. Aur agar Kookie ke ek baal ko bhi kuch hua na—”

Jimin cut in, pointing a finger at Tae.
“ Main tera mooh tod dungi. Samjhe?”

Tae put both hands up. “ Guys WHAT?? Why would I hurt her? I am literally the biggest bunny-protector!”

Hobi added dramatically,
“ Main bhi aa jaunga aapke dreams mein kaan khinchne.”

Tae, “ WHY ARE YOU ALL THREATENING ME ON MY OWN WEDDING NIGHT??”

Jin sighed and stepped closer.
“ Tae… Kookie is fourteen. Aaj sirf usko comfortable feel karwana. Bas.”

Namjoon gave a final nod.
“ Aur agar woh dari, ya royi, ya tujhe ‘Tae carry me’ bolna pada, toh call us. Hum aa jaayenge.”

Suga, “ 24/7 surveillance. Don’t test me.”

Jimin, “ Aur I swear, agar Kookie  ne bola ki ‘Tete mujhe tang kar raha hai’, I am breaking this door.”

Tae groaned, covering his face.
“ GUYS. I AM NOT A MONSTER. I KNOW SHE IS A CHILD. I WILL TREAT HER LIKE MY BABY BUNNY, OKAY??”

"And aaplog toh mujhe aise instructions derhe ho jaise bunny first time mere pass aagegi.... Don't forget jbse voh paida hui hai.... Mom ke baad I'm the one jisne bunny ko abtk paal poss kr bada kiya hai.... And aage bhi krunga.... And one more thing..... Bunny jitna aap sbke saath collectively jitna rhti hai usse zyada voh mere sath rhti hai.... So chill.... Mai apni baby bunny ko sambhal lunga.... Voh bhi bhut ache se...don't worry.... "

Nam narrowed his eyes.

“ Good. Bas yaad rakh—
NO romance, NO awkwardness, NO weirdness. And No GULLU GULLU....
Only safety. Only comfort.”

Tae saluted.
“ Yes sir. Captain Safety reporting for duty.”

The family glared a little more…
and then finally left.

Tae closed the door behind them and sighed dramatically.

"YHI HOTA HAI JB AAP GHR KE LAADLI CHHOTI BETI SE SHADI KRLO TOH...."

Five minutes later—

Knock knock.....

A tiny voice whispered,
“ TeTe? May I come in?”

Tae’s whole face softened instantly.

He rushed to the door and opened it.

And there she was…

Kookie.....
Dressed in soft pastel nightwear, unicorn slippers, holding a giant bunny plushie bigger than her.

She looked shy, nervous, tiny —
like she wasn’t entering her husband’s room…

But going to a sleepover for the first time without her sister Jimin.

Tae knelt to her height.
“ Hey baby bunny… ready?”

Kookie nodded nervously.
“ H-hmm. But Tete… mujhe thoda sa dar lag raha hai.”

Tae immediately held her hand softly.
"Darr kyu....?? Aap kaun sa kisi stranger ke room mei aayi ho.... Iss room mei toh aap pehli bhi aati ho.... Bs farq itna hai aaj sone aayi ho.... And see.... Maine aur mom ne milkr yeh room kitne ache se decorate kiyaa hai.... Just the way you like it....."

She peeked inside —
the room was glowing with fairy lights, plushies, pastel blankets, cartoon pillows.

Kookie’s eyes sparkled.

“ TeTe… you did all this?”

“ obviously bunny.... After all our baby bunny deserves best.... Right.... "

She giggled and walked in.

Tae followed her, carrying her bag.

The moment Kookie climbed onto the bed, she squeaked.

“ TETE!! THERE ARE SO MANY PLUSHIES!!!”

Tae puffed up with pride.
“ Haan toh? My wife deserves the softest bed.”

Kookie blinked.
“ Wife? Me?? But I’m still small…”

Then dramatically put her tiny hand on her forehead....

"Acha haa.... Mai toh bhul hi gyi thi.... Ki ab hmari shadi hogyi hai.... Aur hum dono husband wife hai..... Kya kru mai abhi chhoti hoo na... Toh chhotu se deemaag mei se kbhi kbhi chhoti moti Cheeze bhul jati hoo...."

Hearing such dadi amma type of dramatic dialogue from her cute little mouth.... He giggled.....

Tae softened, ruffling her hair.

“ Haan, you’re small. Isiliye toh I have to take extra care of you. Marriage doesn’t change that. You’re still our baby....”

She beamed.

Then suddenly—

Kookie grabbed a pillow.
“ TeTe…”

“ Hmm?”

“ PILLOW FIGHT!!!!”

Before Tae could react —
WHUMP!

A huge pillow hit his face.

Tae fell back dramatically.
“ AHH I AM DEAD! I AM ATTACKED BY A BABY RABBIT!!”

Kookie giggled loudly.
“ TeTe you’re too slowww!”

Tae grabbed a pillow.
“ Oh really? Ab dekh!”

And chaos exploded.

Pillow fight. Plushie war.
Tickle attacks.
Kookie running around the bed, Tae pretending to fall.

At one point she hit him with her unicorn plushie and he shouted,

“ Aahh meri izzat! Unicorn ne attack kar diya!”

Kookie rolled on the bed laughing.

After the mini war, they sat surrounded by plushies and cushions.

Tae brought a tray.

“ I got snacks. Banana milk for you. Strawberry shake for me.”

Kookie sipped happily.
“TeTe… its so delicious..... You always make best banana milk.....”

Tae smiled.
“ Obviously..... After all I know my bunny's taste and preference.....”

They munched cookies, chips, and gummies.

Kookie wiped crumbs off Tae’s cheek.
“ Tete messy boy.”

“ I am not messy, YOU are messy.” Tae poked her nose.

She gasped dramatically.
“ How dare you!!”

Tae laughed.
“ Okay okay sorry madam.”

Then Kookie asked softly,
“ TeTe… kya main yahan roz aa sakti hoon?”

Tae paused..... Then smiled

“ bilkul bunny.... Its our room.... And remember maine kaha hai na ki shadi ke baad ab jo bhi mera hai voh sb tumhara hai.... Chahe voh yeh room ho ya toys ya paise ya chocolates  even Mai khud anything & everything...... Mera harr cheez ab sb tumhara hai.... So you don't have to take permission to come here.... Jb chaho aao.... "

Kookie’s eyes became shiny.

“ sachchi tete..... Aapka hrr cheez ab mera hai..... Wow.... Thankyou Tete....”

He smiled and tapped her forehead gently.
“ Anything for you, bunny.”

Just when the atmosphere became soft and wholesome—

BANG BANG BANG

The door flew open.

Nam, Jin, suga, Jimin, and Hobi stood there AGAIN.

Tae yelled, “ OH MY GOD!! WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE AGAIN?!”

Suga narrowed his eyes.
“ Kookie theek hai na? Ro toh nhi rhi hai? Dar toh nahi lag rha hai ?”

Kookie blinked innocently.
“ Nahi  bhaiya! Hum pillow fight kar rahe the!”

Everyone gasped.

Jimin glared at Tae.
“ Pillow fight? You hit my baby??”

Tae, “ SHE HIT ME FIRST!!!”

Kookie nod nod nod, “ I attacked him. He fell like a cartoon.”

Hobi burst out laughing.
“ HAHAHAHA Tae bhaiya got beaten by a baby.”

Jin examined Kookie’s cheeks.
“ No red marks? No scratches?”

Tae groaned.
“ mom pleeease she is fine.”

Namjoon looked suspiciously.
“ Sure?”

“ YES!”

Jimin hugged Kookie tightly.
“ Baby, agar koi problem ho, bas mujhe phone karna.... Main aa jaungi.... instantly.”

Kookie nodded.
“ didi I’m okayyy!”

Tae threw his hands up.
“ Can I please spend some quality time with my baby bunny without FBI checking every two minutes??”

Suga glared.,“No.”

Jin dragged everyone out.
“ Okay okay enough. Let them play. Poor Tae. Let him babysit.”

Tae shouted as they left,
“I AM NOT BABYSITTING— okay fine I am babysitting.”

Door closed.

Peace returned.

Kookie suddenly clapped.
“Tae! Let’s play games!”

Tae smiled.
“ Which one? I have Ludo, UNO, puzzles, stickers, Lego—”

Kookie, “ EVERYTHING!”

Thus began…

The Longest Game Night in Kim Family History

UNO
Kookie kept skipping Tae again and again.
“ SKIP TAE!”
“ SKIP AGAIN!”
“ DRAW TWO TAE!”

Tae cried dramatically,
“ STOP BULLYING MEEE!”

Kookie laughed like a tiny villain.

LUDO
Kookie kept rolling sixes.
“ See? Lord blessed me.”

Tae stared.
“ Are you cheating??”

Kookie gasped.
“Haww tete.... Aap mujhe cheater bol rhe ho.... You know na I'm good girl..... And good girls don't cheat...."

“ Nahi nahi!! Sorry sorry!!”

LEGO
Kookie made a crooked house.
Tae made a perfect one.

Kookie pouted.
“ Your house is too perfect.... Mine is baby-like.”

Tae immediately crushed his own creation.
“ Now both equal.”

Kookie giggled and hugged his arm.

PLUSHIE MATCHING GAME
Tae hid plushies.
Kookie searched everywhere — behind curtains, under pillows, inside Tae’s hoodie.

“ TAE! There was plushie in your hoodie??”

Tae smirked.
“I am magician.”

After hours of playing, Kookie finally yawned.

Tae softened at the tiny sound.

“ Sleepy bunny?”

She nodded, rubbing her eyes.

Tae lifted the blanket.
“ Come here.”

Kookie crawled into the bed and surrounded herself with plushies.

Tae tucked her in gently, placing her unicorn next to her.

Right when he was about to sleep on his side—

Kookie held his sleeve.

“ Tete… can you sleep close? I’m not used to new room.”

Tae smiled softly.

“ Of course, bunny.”

He lay down beside her, keeping a respectful, careful distance.

Kookie scooted closer —
not out of romance,
but out of pure childlike comfort.

She whispered,
“ Tae?”

“ Hmm?”

“ Am I heavy responsibility?”

Tae’s heart squeezed.

He gently brushed her bangs aside.

“ Bunny… you’re the easiest person to love.....And the most precious person I want to protect.....”

Kookie’s eyes softened.

“ Tae?”

“ Yes?”

“ Goodnight.”

She snuggled into him and fell asleep instantly, tiny breaths steady and sweet.

Tae smiled, pulled the blanket up, and whispered:

“ Goodnight, my baby bunny.”

He wrapped an arm lightly, protectively around her —

like hugging his little baby  falls asleep beside him.

No weirdness.
No awkwardness.
Only warmth.

And that’s how…

Tae spent his first night
not as a husband…but as the most responsible guarding angel.....to the youngest member of their family....

At 6 AM—

The door BURST open.

Nam, “ TAE ARE YOU AWAKE— oh…”

Jin, “ Aww they’re sleeping like angels.”

Suga, “ Good. He didn’t mess up.”

Jimin, “ Meri baby  bohot cute lag rahi hai.”

Hobi, “ Tae bhaiya is drooling tho.”

Tae wakes up, “ WHAT— WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE?!”

Kookie sat up sleepily.
“ Good morning,.…”

The entire family melted.

Suga wiped her hair gently.
“ Did Tae bother you?”

Kookie shook her head with a smile.
“ No..... Tete is best.”

Tae puffed his chest proudly.
“ See?? I told you—”

Nam, “ Okay okay don’t show attitude.”

Jin kissed Kookie’s forehead.
“ Baby had good sleep?”

Kookie nodded.
“ Best sleep.”

Tae smiled softly watching her happiness.

And that’s how…
their chaotic, funny, childish first night became the cutest memory of their entire family.
