Evening sunlight poured like honey over the Kim mansion, glinting off white marble pillars and the soft cascade of jasmine strings hanging by the entrance. The faint sound of shehnai drifted through the air, and the scent of sandalwood floated around the hall.

Jimin: (adjusting the silver thali on the table) Everything should be perfect today. My family will be here any minute. Koi kami nhi rhni chahiye unke khatirdari mei

Tae: (nervously fixing her dupatta) bhabhi, mujhe itna nervous kyun lag raha hai yaar? It’s just Kookie and his family… Roz toh mai unn sbse milti hoo.... but still.....

Suga: (teasing, leaning on the doorway) Because you know that this is no normal visit..... Pehle tum unse meri behan/ jimin ki nanad ki tarah milti thi..... Pr aaj se voh voh tumhare sasural wale hai.... After today, you’ll officially be the Jeon family’s daughter-in-law.

Tae: (blushing) bhai...., please… don’t tease like that....

Jimin: (laughing softly) He’s right though. You both love each other, and now everyone will finally say it aloud.Finally tum dono ki shadi hogi.I’m so happy, Tae.....

The gates opened outside. The low hum of an expensive engine stopped, and the sound of shoes on stone echoed up the steps.

Servant: Ma’am, jk Bhaiya aur aapke mummy papa aagye.....

Inside, the air seemed to still for a second. J-Hope straightened his kurta, Suga smoothed his hair, and Jimin tugged Tae’s hand to stand beside her.

The door opened. Nam stepped in first, tall and dignified, Jin glowing in a lavender saree beside him, and behind them—kookie, in a dark blue sherwani, eyes already searching for Tae.

J-Hope: (grinning wide) Arre joonie bhai! Welcome, welcome! Aapka hi intezaar tha..... Poora ghar roshan ho gaya aap sab ke aane se.

Nam: (warmly hugging him) Hobie bhai, aaj toh hum apni beti lene aaye hain.

Laughter rippled through the hall. Jimin ran forward to hug her parents.

Jimin: Mom, Dad! You’re looking amazing!

Jin: (cupping her face) mere 4ro bchche kitne pyaare lgrhe hai sath mei.... Tae baby you're looking like an angel.....

Tae: (bowing slightly ) Thank you aunty,.... Please ander aaiye.....

Jin-: ab toh mujhe mummy hi bolo.....

Tae-: ji.... Mummy....

kookie’s gaze never left Tae. She lowered her eyes, but the flush on her cheeks betrayed everything.

Jungkook: (softly, as he passed by) Missed you so much angel.....

Tae: (whispering back) Not here, Kookie…

He smiled, that dark glint of possessiveness flickering briefly before he turned toward J-Hope with folded hands.

Jungkook: Uncle… I mean, Dad. It feels good to be here again....

J-Hope: (patting his shoulder) You’ll be saying that every day once the date is fixed, beta....

Namjoon and J-Hope moved toward the living area, where tea and sweets were laid out. The chandeliers sparkled; soft music floated from the corner speakers.

As the elders settled, Jimin, Suga, Tae, and kookie stood slightly apart near the window.

Jimin: (whispering to Suga) It feels surreal, doesn’t it? Yesterday we were just talking about their relationship, and today—look.

Suga: They’re meant for each other. kookie may be my best friend/ brother in law, but the way he looks at Tae… he’d fight the world for her.

Tae: (rolling eyes playfully) You both are acting like we’re already married.

Jungkook: (quiet, close to her ear) bhut jld voh bhi hojayega.....

Tae’s breath hitched. She looked up, meeting the intensity in his eyes. It wasn’t aggressive—it was a promise, fierce and protective.

Tae: Kookie, behave. Everyone’s watching.

Jungkook: Can’t help it. Do you even know how many nights I’ve waited for this moment?

Jimin swatted his arm lightly.

Jimin: oye babu shona..... Stop whispering nonsense, both of you. Behave, varna I’ll tell Dad.

Jungkook: You’re my sibling..... not my warden.....

Suga: (smirking) exactly.... She's your elder sister and my wife.... So respect her......

The group burst into laughter, easing the tension.

At the center table, J-Hope poured tea for Namjoon and Jin.

J-Hope: joonie..... Kl jimin ne taekook ke baare mei btayi.... They thought we don't know about them..... [Giggled]

Nam: (smiling) Haan, exactly..... Hmei toh bhut pehle se inke love and relationship ke baare mei pta tha..... Pr jimkook ke mooh se zyada khushi hui.....

Jungkook-: [whisper] aayein.... Inko hmare baare mei pehle se pta tha.... And we were thinking that we're pro in hiding......

Tae-: exactly.... Tumhare iss obsessive harkaton ke vjh se pta chla hoga.....

Jimin-: arey bs kro ladna....

Suga-: exactly..... You guys are forgetting.... They're our parents..... And parents ko apne bchche ke life mei kya chl rha hai sb pta hota..... They were just waiting for us to reveal by ourselves.....

Taekook-: hmm....

Jin: (nodding) exactly....And tae… she’s so graceful, smart, and full of heart. Perfect for our son..... Maine toh jb tae ko first time dekha tha tbhi apni bahu bnane ka decision leliya tha.... Ki mere ghr ki bahu toh sirf tae hi bnegi.... Aur dekho its happening..... I'm so happy for them.....

J-Hope: Then what are we waiting for? Let’s make it official.

He clapped his hands, and the room filled with quiet excitement.

J-Hope: suga, Jimin—bring the sweets. Today we fix the rishta of our children.

Tae froze. kookie took her hand under the dupatta, squeezing lightly.

Jungkook: (whispering) Breathe, love. It’s happening. From today you're officially mine forever.....

Tae: (smiling nervously) I still can’t believe Its finally happening.... we're getting married..... Ohh.... God....

Jimin: (approaching with a silver plate of laddoos) Believe it now. Here—Dads, mom please..... Lijiye aur muh meetha kriye.....

J-Hope took one laddoo and offered it to Jin, then to Namjoon.

J-Hope: Let’s start the new relation sweet.

Nam nodded, then fed a piece to Tae himself.

Nam: Welcome to the Jeon family, beta.

Tae’s eyes shimmered; she bent to touch his feet, then Jin’s.

Jin: (lifting her up) Arre nahi beta, no formality. From now, you’re our daughter.... Aur hmare ghr mei betiya pairr nhi chhutti.....

Across the room, kookie’s chest swelled with pride. When J-Hope placed a laddoo in his hand, he immediately turned to Tae.

Jungkook: (feeding her) For the beginning of forever Jaan.......

The hall erupted with cheers and laughter. Cameras clicked; petals were thrown from the balcony by the staff.

Later, as the families discussed possible wedding dates, the younger ones slipped out to the terrace bathed in moonlight.

The city spread below them like a sea of diamonds. The faint chill of evening brushed their skin.

Tae: (leaning on the railing) So… it’s really happening..... Can't believe.....

Jungkook: Finally. I thought I’d lose my mind waiting..... Now you're officially mine

Tae: You’re impossible, you know that? You act like you own me.

Jungkook: (moving closer, voice low) Maybe I do. Maybe you own me too.

She looked up; the wind played with her hair. He tucked a strand behind her ear, eyes soft but burning with something deeper.

Tae: (teasing) You sound scary sometimes.

Jungkook: Not scary. Just honest. I can’t see you with anyone else. Ever.

Jimin: (from behind, mock-coughing) Ahem.... Babu shona krpya dhyaan de.... Abhi hum mere sasural ke chhatt pr khade hai.... Toh apna yeh romance ko krpya krke control krein..... Aur kookie aaj se yeh tera bhi sasural hai.... So kindly behave.....

Suga: (grinning) Exactly. Save the drama for after marriage, Jungkook.....

Jungkook: jiju.... aap toh kuch mt hi bolo.... Its not drama its called romance.....

Suga: Touché.

They all laughed again, the kind of laughter that lives forever in photographs.

Inside, Namjoon and J-Hope were finalizing the date.

Namjoon: “How about next month, full moon night{Purnima}? It’s auspicious.

J-Hope: Perfect. Let’s make it grand — both our empires will celebrate together.

Jin: And I’ll handle the outfits. Tae deserves the best lehenga, jewelry and makeup....... She needs to look perfect....

Jimin: (walking in) Mom, you know I’ll help too..... Aakhir voh meri bestie, bhabhi+ nanad hai.....

J-Hope: Then it’s decided. Next month, our Taekook wedding.....

Jungkook-: next month....?? Kyu?? Itna late. Thoda jldi nhi hoskta kya....??

Suga-: toh tu kya chahta hai kl hi kra de tum dono ki shadi....??

Jungkook-: aisa ho skta hai kya....??hi krlete hai na shadi.... 1 mahina kyu hi rukna hai...

Jimin-:[teasingly] oyehoye.....[dramatically] ruka nhi jaarha..... Tadap hi aise hai.....

Suga-: koi baat nhi.... Itne saal wait kiye ho.... 1 mahina aur wait krlo..... Issi beech dono ka engagement aur itni saari preparation and rituals honge ki  1 mahina kb beet jayega pta bhi nhi chlega....

Jungkook-:[pouting like a baby] ok.... Pr bs 1 mahina.... Usse zyada mai aur nhi rukunga....

Suga-: haa bilkul mt rukna.....

Applause filled the hall. kookie lifted Tae’s hand in the air, triumphant.

Jungkook: Next month, Mrs Jeon..... You ready.... To be mine forever.....

Tae: (smiling through tears) Always.

Jimin wiped her eyes discreetly; Suga wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

Suga: See, told you your matchmaking skills would pay off.

Jimin: It’s not matchmaking when two souls already belonged together.

The night carried on with music and light banter. Jin and J-Hope discussed menus; Namjoon and Suga exchanged business talk. On the side, Jungkook and Taehyung found a quiet corner near the garden fountain.

Tae: You’re still staring.

Jungkook: Trying to memorise this face before I lose it in the wedding rush.

Tae: (laughs softly) Drama king

Jungkook: Only when it comes to you.

He reached out, brushing his thumb across her cheek. The fragrance of roses and wet grass lingered around them.

Tae: Kookie…

Jungkook: Haan, my love?

Tae: Promise me.... Aap kbhi mt bdlna.... Hmesha aise hi rhna.....

Jungkook: (sincere) I won’t. If anything, I’ll just love you harder.....

The fountain splashed quietly behind them. From the windows, the golden light of the celebration spilled onto the garden, wrapping them in a soft glow.

Back inside, Jimin and Jin were talking near the dessert table.

Jimin: Mom, I’ve never seen Kookie this happy.....

Jin: He’s grown up, Jimin. It’s a different kind of happiness — the one that makes parents proud.....

Nam: (joining) And a little emotional, too. My boy’s getting married.

Jimin-: hmm.... He really loves her alot....

Namjin-: [smiling proudly] hmm....

J-Hope: (clapping him on the back) Welcome to my club, brother.

They all laughed again, the laughter of families that had finally merged into one.... Ones again with new relation

Later that night, as guests began to leave, Jimin found Tae and kookie on the veranda.

Jimin: You two look lost in your own world..... Ab bahar bhi aajao apni dunya se

Tae: Just… taking it all in. Everything’s happening so fast.

Jungkook: Fast? I waited years for this.

Suga: (walking over) oye babu ki jaan... Bas karo..... Go home, dream about the wedding and plan about your honeymoon....... Ab yha dubara apna romance shuru mt kro please.....

Jungkook: You’re just jealous, jiju....

Suga: Jealous of what? I already married your sister, remember?

Jimin: (laughing) And now you’ll have to share me with wedding planning.

Suga: Great, another round of sleepless nights & khoob saari bhagdaur.....

Tae: Don’t worry, bhai. I’ll make sure bhabhi takes care of you.

Suga: You better. You’re her new project.....

They all laughed again; their voices carried softly into the night.

As the Jeon family finally stepped out, the driveway bathed in warm light, J-Hope hugged Namjoon tightly.

J-Hope: Thank you for trusting our family again, bhai......

Nam: The trust was always there. Now it’s just love bond and destiny doing its job......

Jin: We’ll start the wedding preparations tomorrow.

J-Hope: And I’ll make sure the world remembers this wedding.

Behind them, kookie turned back once more, eyes finding Tae standing by the doorway. She lifted her hand slightly, a small wave, her smile trembling with joy.

Jungkook: (whispering to himself) Just one more month baby…... Fir tum hmesha ke liye mere hojaogi.....

The car door closed. The night air hummed with promise...... Jeons went back to jeon mansion......

Ab kl se taekook wedding preparations and wedding rituals aayenge......
