Yoonmin first night

The night was quiet — the kind of silence that hums softly after a wedding full of laughter and lights. The grand Kim mansion had finally gone still; only faint music echoed from far away, and the golden glow of diyas flickered outside the newlyweds’ room.

Inside, the air smelled faintly of jasmine and sandalwood.
The room was beautifully decorated — sheer curtains swaying in the soft breeze, petals scattered across the bed, and candles glowing like tiny stars around the corners.
On the side table sat a silver tray — two glasses of milk, a bowl of almonds, and a note from Tae that said, “Good luck, Bhaiya — don’t scare her with your poker face 😂”

Suga chuckled quietly when he saw it.

Suga (smiling): Trust Tae to ruin even the most romantic moment with her jokes.

He loosened his sherwani collar, looking around — every corner of the room seemed to whisper the weight of this moment. Not out of nervousness, but something deeper. Love. Responsibility.

The door creaked softly.

Jimin stepped in, wearing a soft maroon saree, her hair open, the mangalsutra glinting against her skin. She looked radiant — the kind of beauty that didn’t need attention, it just existed quietly, gracefully.

For a second, Suga just stood still — staring, not blinking, not breathing.

Suga (whispering): You look… breathtaking.

Jimin (shy, fumbling with her pallu): Don’t look at me like that…

Suga (smirking slightly): Can’t help it. It’s the first time I get to call you my wife.

Jimin (soft laugh): Feels strange hearing that… wife.

Suga (taking a step closer): Feels perfect

Jimin’s heartbeat quickened as he closed the distance between them. His tone wasn’t teasing — it was gentle, deep, full of meaning.

Suga: You’ve been through a long day, hmm? Sit down, Jimin-ah.

She sat on the edge of the bed, her hands clutching her saree nervously. Suga knelt down before her — the mighty, feared kim suga, Mafia prince of the underworld, now kneeling in front of the woman he loved.

He gently removed her heavy earrings and placed them on the side table.

Jimin (whispering): You don’t have to…

Suga: I want to. You’ve carried the whole wedding on your shoulders. Let me take care of you now.

His fingers brushed against her skin — slow, respectful, never crossing lines, but still making her blush.

Suga (smiling softly): You know, I’m not good with words. But tonight… I want you to know what you mean to me.

Jimin (looking up shyly): Then tell me.

Suga (voice low and steady): You’re peace. You’re the first thing in my life that made chaos feel quiet. You make me want to come home.

Her eyes shimmered.

Jimin (softly): You’re saying all this just to make me cry, aren’t you?

Suga (grinning faintly): Maybe. You look cute when you cry.

Jimin (pouting): suga.....

Suga (chuckling): Okay, okay. No tears tonight.

He got up and sat beside her. The silence between them wasn’t awkward — it was comforting. The air carried warmth, like two souls finally resting after a long journey.

Suga picked up a small velvet box from the bedside drawer.

Suga: I had made this before our wedding

Jimin-: fir diya kyu nhi.....??

Suga-: himmt hi nhi hui....

He opened it — inside lay a delicate silver bracelet with tiny charms shaped like a moon, a piano key, and a heart.

Jimin (gasping softly): It’s beautiful.

Suga: Each charm means something. The moon — because you light up my nights. The piano — because you’re my calm in chaos. And the heart… he paused, smiling faintly …because it’s yours anyway.

Jimin (blushing): suga… stop, you’ll make me cry again.

Suga (teasing softly): Then cry. I’ll still love you just the same.

He fastened the bracelet gently around her wrist.

Suga (whispering): There. Now you’re officially mine.

Jimin (smiling shyly): I thought the wedding already did that.

Suga (leaning closer, voice low): That made you my wife. This makes you my heart forever.....

For a moment, Jimin couldn’t speak. Her cheeks glowed under the candlelight, and her eyes refused to meet his.

Jimin (softly): I used to think you’d be cold, irritating you know. Everyone calls you serious, quiet, intimidating…

Suga: And?

Jimin (smiling faintly): They don’t know you like I do. The way you worry when I skip lunch, or the way you wait outside my NGO office at night, pretending it’s coincidence.

Suga (grinning slightly): I was just checking if your driver was on time.

Jimin: You were checking if I was safe. Don’t lie.

Suga (shrugs): Can’t fool you anymore.

They both laughed softly.

Then silence again — this time deeper. The kind of silence where eyes speak more than words.

Suga (after a pause): Jimin… are you happy with me.....??

Jimin (smiling softly): More than I’ve ever been.

Suga (relieved sigh): “Then I’ve done something right.”

He took her hand and kissed her knuckles — gentle, reverent, kissed her forehead then her both cheeks.....

Jimin’s breath hitched slightly.

Jimin (whispering): You make me feel… safe, comfortable and loved.....

Suga (smiling): That’s my only job now.

He reached behind and brought a shawl, wrapping it softly around her shoulders.

Jimin (surprised): You remembered I get cold easily.

Suga (smiling): I remember everything about you.

He tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Suga (softly): when I first saw you at road.... When you accidentally hit my car.... And instead of feeling sorry you started roasting me and left me their alone..... I was like gajjab beizati hai bhai.....

Jimin: [laughing] yeah..... Aapne bhi toh mujhse seedha  1crore maang liya tha.....

Suga:  kyuki jb maine aapko uss vqt dekha.... I fell in love with you at first sight.... Mera deemaag hi switch off hogya.... Toh maine kuch bhi boldiya....

Jimin (laughing): our first 2 meets were so chaotic and funny....

Suga (grinning): exactly.....

He held her gaze — steady, calm, full of quiet intensity.

Suga (gently): You don’t have to be shy, Jimin. I’m not going to rush anything. We have a lifetime for this love to grow. Tonight, I just want you to know — you’re not just my wife… you’re my peace.

Jimin’s eyes welled up again.

Jimin (softly): Why do you always say things that melt me?

Suga: Because I mean them.

He pulled her closer — not roughly, but with care — resting his forehead against hers.
They stayed like that, breathing each other’s air, hearts beating in the same rhythm.

Suga (whispering): Close your eyes.

Jimin (blushing): Why?

Suga: Just trust me..... Please.....

She closed her eyes, and he kissed her lips — long, lingering, gentle but deep....

Suga (softly): That’s for all the times I couldn’t say I love you out loud.

Jimin smiled shyly, eyes still closed.

Jimin (whispering): Then say it now.

Suga: (smiling, his voice steady) I love you, Jiminaah....

Jimin (heart racing): I love you too, suga....

He smiled — that rare, genuine smile that reached his eyes — and pulled her into a soft embrace.

They sat like that for a long time, surrounded by candlelight and silence — two people who didn’t need anything grand to express love. Just warmth, understanding, and a promise that no matter what, they’d face the world together.

Outside, the wind rustled the curtains softly, carrying the faint scent of jasmine through the room.
Inside, the night wrapped them in peace — their first night not as strangers, not even as newlyweds, but as two souls finally home.
