Taekook interview

Setting:
The studio lights glowed warm and inviting, casting a golden hue over the pastel-blue backdrop that read "TAEKOOK Comeback Special - The Bond Behind the Music." Cameras were being adjusted, makeup artists were doing last-minute touch-ups, and the faint hum of excited staff filled the room.

On one side of the set sat Kim Taehyung in a tailored cream blazer over a soft beige turtleneck, hair perfectly styled but still managing that boyish fluff fans adored. On the other side, Jeon Jungkook wore an oversized black cardigan over a white shirt, his hair parted just enough to frame his face.

They had just returned from what everyone thought was a short vacation abroad. What no one knew - not the interviewer, not the crew, not even the members of staff - was that in a quiet little chapel miles away from Seoul, they had tied the knot only two weeks ago.

This was their first public schedule together since becoming husbands.

Opening Moments

Interviewer: (smiling) "Welcome, Taehyung-ssi, Jungkook-ssi. ARMY has missed you both so much. How have you been?"

kookie: (smiling) "We've been... good. Resting. Eating well. Sleeping a lot."

Tae: (glancing sideways at him with a tiny smirk) "You've been sleeping a lot. I've been trying to wake you up for schedules."

kookie: (laughing) "Hyung's definition of waking me up is singing loudly in my ear at 7 AM."

Tae: (innocent look) "I only do that because someone turns off his alarm and hugs me tighter."

There was a quick silence - too quick - where both of them realized what Tae had just implied. A few staff members smiled politely, probably assuming it was just typical roommate talk. But kookie's ears had gone red.

Narrative Aside

Behind their casual teasing was a familiarity that went beyond friendship. The way kookie's knee brushed against Tae's under the table, the way Tae's hand briefly lingered on kookie's shoulder when they adjusted their mics - none of it was unusual for them, but for them now, it carried a different weight.

They'd promised each other to keep things subtle. No obvious slips, no obvious touches. But habits were hard to break. Especially when the person you had been in love with for years was now your spouse.

Fans' Favorite Topic - Food

Interviewer: "You both recently posted pictures of some delicious home-cooked meals. Who's the better cook between you?"

Tae: (without hesitation) "Me."

kookie: (laughing) "Excuse me? The kimchi fried rice incident says otherwise." and first tell me who taught you cooking?? Obviously me.....😎 otherwise you don't even know how to boil an egg.....😚😉

Tae-: ok....That was one time..... I accept you taught me cooking.... But now accept it I cook more tasty food then you and you love to food cooked by me.... Isn't it....😉

Kookie-: yup....😅 that because I'm too lazy to cook..... And who won't love to eat food without any hardwork....😉 otherwise you always says that I'm great chef....isn't it😉

Tae: (turns to interviewer) "He thinks adding extra cheese to everything makes him a chef."

kookie: "And yet you eat all of it without complaining."

The interviewer chuckled, clearly enjoying their back-and-forth. But fans watching later would freeze-frame the exact moment Tae muttered under his breath, "Because you make it for me," thinking no one heard.

Playful Challenge

The interviewer, sensing their chemistry, pulled out cue cards for a quick game: "Okay, let's play 'Who's More Likely To?' I'll read a question, and you both point at each other or yourself."

Interviewer: "Who's more likely to be late for a schedule?"
Both point at Jungkook.

kookie: (fake offended) "Wow, so fast to betray me, hyung."

Tae: "I'm just telling the truth. You're the king of 'five more minutes'."

Interviewer: "Who's more likely to forget an anniversary?"

Both froze. The air shifted. For a split second, Tae's eyebrow arched in amusement, kookie bit his lip, and they both slowly pointed at kookie.

Tae: (deadpan) "He almost forgot one recently."

kookie: (spluttering) "That's not true! I just... didn't realize the date yet."

Fans would have no idea this "anniversary" was their wedding date from just days ago, when kookie almost forgot to pick up the bouquet Tae had ordered for their dinner.

Narrative Aside - The Hidden Glances

Throughout the segment, their eyes kept finding each other without meaning to. When Tae laughed, kookie looked at him like it was the only sound in the world. When kookie answered a question, Tae listened so intently you could almost see the unspoken affection behind his gaze.

It wasn't the first time they'd looked at each other like this, but now, after vows had been exchanged, there was a softness - a settledness - that hadn't been there before.

The "Pet Peeve" Question

Interviewer: "Since you two have spent so much time together recently, what's one habit of the other that you find... annoying?"

kookie: (grinning) "Hyung leaves his tea cups everywhere. I find them in the living room, the studio, sometimes even the bathroom-"

Tae: (laughing) "That's because I like to drink tea while getting ready! At least I don't spend two hours in the shower."

kookie: "It's called self-care."

Tae: "It's called making me wait outside the bathroom door."

Interviewer-: so taehyung since you're close since childhood.... I guess from 2012 world got talent show..... So any secret or any habit you want to tell about your bestie jungkook that world/armies don't know but you know??......😅

Tae looked at kookie with an evil smirky smile and was going to reveal his secret.... But kookie understood what he was going to tell so kookie quickly warned him

Kookie-:{warned } if you will tell then.... you'll be sleeping today on couch for whole week .... And no hugs/kisses/cuddling for whole 1month as a punishment😑.... {Without realizing they were in public giving interview}

Tae-: "jagiya".... This is not done..... You can't do this to me....😙😚 ok..... Fine I won't tell.... Sorry guys....😅😁 its a secret.....😅😁

(Then they realized what they have done)

but the audience would laugh, thinking this was just a cute domestic squabble between childhood best friends. But in reality, it was exactly that - except they were legally married now.

A Slight Slip - The Ring Incident

Halfway through the interview, Tae gestured with his right hand - and the thin gold band on his ring finger caught the light.

Fans watching later would zoom in and start endless threads about it. For now, the interviewer didn't notice, but kookie's eyes darted to the ring, then back to Tae's face, with the tiniest smile tugging at his lips.

Interviewer: "So, any message for ARMY before we wrap up?"

Tae: (smiling warmly) "We've been working hard, and we're so grateful for your love. We've been... very happy lately."

kookie: (softly) "Yeah... happiest I've ever been."

The silence after was brief but loaded. The interviewer smiled, moving on, but somewhere behind the cameras, a staff member tilted their head, wondering about the choice of words.

Closing Moments

As the segment wrapped, the crew started packing up. kookie reached for his water bottle but found Tae had already handed it to him, their fingers brushing.

"Thanks," kookie murmured.
"Always," Tae replied quietly, so only he could hear.

When they walked out of the studio together, their shoulders brushed, moving in sync like they had for years - but now, with the quiet comfort of knowing that no matter what the world saw or didn't see, they were each other's home.

Fans' Aftermath

Within hours of the interview airing, ARMY Twitter exploded:

"Did you see the way JK looked at Tae when he laughed???"

"What was that about forgetting an anniversary? Since when do they have anniversaries???"

"TAE'S RING. I REPEAT. TAE. IS. WEARING. A. RING."

"I saw kookie also wore same type of ring in his ring finger".....

"The way they talk like a married couple... I'm crying.".....

They're giving typical married couple vibes..... Omg this is so cute...... 😍

(And making edits related to their interview....showing taekook moments.... And guessing meaning of their replies randomly..... #taekook is real# trending everywhere.....)

The two of them, sitting in their apartment later that night, read through the theories, exchanging knowing smiles. kookie leaned against Tae's shoulder, phone in hand, scrolling.

"They have no idea," kookie said softly.

"They will... one day," Tae replied, pressing a kiss to the top of his head. "For now, let's just enjoy being us."

And they did......

Soon they'll announce their wedding to their armies.....

😍😘 thanks for reading😍😘
